Topic: CLOSED: DriverPacks BASE not able to slipstream Intel chipset drivers

I downloaded all the drivers pack
I'm using first method, Guirunonce and massstorage text mode.

But if got this problem :

2006-06-24 14:56:52 : <CRIT> Could not copy Intel Chipset drivers' .inf files from \$OEM$\$1\D\C\I\xp\ to \$OEM$\$$\INF.

What's the matter ?

What can I do ?

Re: CLOSED: DriverPacks BASE not able to slipstream Intel chipset drivers

maybe the .inf is missing because of corrupted download of driverpack?

Re: CLOSED: DriverPacks BASE not able to slipstream Intel chipset drivers

No, it seems that the first method doesn't work anymore. He surely made a mistake in his programmation. I noticed that there is another topic that deals with this problem, they find why (a bad path) but nobody told us how to solve this sad

Re: CLOSED: DriverPacks BASE not able to slipstream Intel chipset drivers

Which version of DriverPack Chipset are you using? You must be using the latest version, the old one isn't compatile anymore with the new DriverPacks BASE! wink

Re: CLOSED: DriverPacks BASE not able to slipstream Intel chipset drivers

I use all driver pack in latest version
It works if I choose method 2

Re: CLOSED: DriverPacks BASE not able to slipstream Intel chipset drivers

More precision :

I use all Bâshrat the Sneaky pack in their latest version.
I use some pack by vier that I found here

So, everything, Bâshrat the Sneaky's and vier's pack, work if I choose the method 2.
Method 1 works only if I use quickstream cache (and I thought that it was only an option, not an obligation) and without trying to integrate vier's pack.

So I insist on the fact that there's a problem with method 1 sad

Re: CLOSED: DriverPacks BASE not able to slipstream Intel chipset drivers

Annother precision : I'm french so there's surely some mistakes in my English lol

Same issue. Labeled "solved" as well?

Bâshrat the Sneaky, did you look at the suggestion at the end of the thread?

I've now read that topic again and don't remember why I've set it to 'SOLVED', so I've set it to 'OPEN' again. Will try to reproduce this.

My reply however was relevant: this problem would ALWAYS exist if you were using the old DriverPack Chipset (any lower than version 6.05), since the directory structure has changed in DP Chipset 6.05.

I will now close this topic, please continue in the other one, as there's more useful information in it. Thank you.
