Topic: [SLVD] Optiplex 990 Mass Storage driver for xp install

Dell Optiplex 990 has a mass storage controller  Intel 6 series C200 . I have looked erywhere but no drivers for ahci install

These are the ven_id dev_id

8086 1c08
8086 1c00

I don't think these drivers exist . No one seems to have them . If you can shed a little light on their conspicious absence from trhe driver world. This would be much appreciated.

They are contained in the Intel chipset drivers.
We have them in dpms \D\M\I5\cougide.inf

Thank You! That worked. I think I spoke too soon. Without trying the Driver Pack Mass Storage first, I actually started to look into the folder and found no mention of the driver , obviously I was unable to find it. It is right there.
