Topic: Audio missing

G'day Driverpacks,
Am hoping you may be able to help me with a lack of audio on my Toshiba
notebook using Win XP Home SP2.
Enclosed is the error that appeared.

Any suggestions as to how, where and what should be done to fix this would
be much appreciated. Silent movies become a bit boring after a while!
Please treat me as a bit of a non-expert, ignoramus when it comes to this
sort of stuff.
Thanks.
Cheers,
geriat2.

Re: Audio missing

quoting your HWID's would be a good place for you to start(link in sig).  Do you have output lacking from both speakers & LineOut? Does the portable have audio with a linuxlive distro?

You need to install SP3 before you do anything else.  SP3 includes the hotfix for HDAudio.

We cannot give you specific help without your log files.  Please read the Read BEFORE you post. link in my signature then post your DPs_BASE.log and HWID list using the tool in my signature.
