Topic: [HELP] Dell XPS 1647 AHCI

I'm using MassStorage 9.01 and DPS_Base 8.12.5.  The first time I tried to install XP, the hard drive wasn't displayed in the text mode setup, so I switched SATA to ATA mode (came from factory on AHCI).  Next time I ran setup, the hard drive showed up, but after 2 hours setup hadn't finished (it was still "6 minutes remaining...").  FWIW, I can install Win 7 on the same machine in ~20 minutes in AHCI mode.

If this device is addressed in the latest MassStorage RC, I'd be happy to test, but I don't know the Nightlies url!

This should be fixed in the latest release candidate (VERY close to release!)

I tried DPs_BASE_100401rc + DP_MassStorage_wnt5_x86-32_100529, and it fixed the AHCI problem.  Unfortunately, I found another problem: the driver for my graphics adapter was not installed (ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4670)
