Topic: [CLOSED] critical error

using  dp base 8.12.4

updated all drivers etc, went to do a slipstream on xp pro x64 and get told

"there are not yet any slipstream modules available for the selected platform"

ive tried to find the x64 version  thinking it may be the answer but failing.

and since there are a lot of systems now on x64 i would have thought this would have been done already.

any help

Re: [CLOSED] critical error

DriverPacks BASE and all the XP DriverPacks are 32-bit only.  We do not support 64-bit for XP or 2003.  Only 64-bit Vista is supported and only by Vista-Tool.

Re: [CLOSED] critical error

yeah was getting that feeling, but since many systems are now with x64 os's systems, when will there be a x64 version?

There already is...Vista-Tool supports x64 Vista with no problems. smile
There is very little regard around here for XP-64.  Just do a search and you'll quickly find THE thread.

I think I'm safe in saying that we will never support XP-64.

Re: [CLOSED] critical error

why is that, why is there so much support for a bad os and no support for a still favourite xp x64?

Re: [CLOSED] critical error

I won't repeat the reasons.
