Topic: VIA South Bridge 8237T + DP_Sound_X_wnt5_x86-32_805.7z

Hi all!

Using DPs_BASE 8.05, I integrate DP_Sound_{A,B}_wnt5_x86-32_805.7z in a UWXPCD-SP3. This integration was the last step just before the creation of the ISO.

After installing it on a machine with the chipset indicated in the subject (whose natural driver for the audio controller is Realtek SoundMAX Integrated Digital Audio 5.12.1.3663 -Hardware ID: PCI/VEN_1106&DEV_3059&SUBSYS_810D1043&REV_60-), I could see that the actual driver installed was "Vinyl AC'97 Codec Combo Driver (WDM)". Sound didn't work.

Trying the installation on a virtual machine (Virtual Box 2.0.4, with Audio Host Driver: Null Audio Driver and Controller: ICH AC97 -Hardware ID: PCI/VEN_8086&DEV_2415&SUBSYS_00008086&REV_01-)), the driver for audio controller was the same: "Vinyl AC'97 Codec Combo Driver (WDM)". Sound didn't work.

Trying the installation on a laptop, the driver was the correct. I can't look the Hardware ID now, but sound worked.

Could it be a bug in DPs_BASE or looks more like a Windows/Driver trouble?

Thanks a lot!
