Re: Need help with Intel S3000AH mobo with built on LSI raid

I'm glad that worked for you.  Why do you need the bartpe and UBCD?
I just want to make sure I don't.  Don't want to miss out on anything.

Well....

What have I missed?  I've tried to get the drivers for the LSI raid on the S3000AH going in bartpe every way I can think of.
I've tried XP and 2003 server source files.   Driverpack 8.02.1 and standard bartpe driver adding.

I did put the drivers for a Intel S5000VSA board using the built in raid and it worked the first time on that board so I know I can do it.

I'm just missing something.  Any ideas will still be appreciated..
I know this is doable..  smile

Thanks,

Kevin

Re: Need help with Intel S3000AH mobo with built on LSI raid

I want to be able to image the RAID drives for backup and restore purposes sorta like this:
http://forums.bit-tech.net/showthread.php?p=1647021

the driver you gave me worked with F6 on the w2k3 cd, but not with UBCD or BartPE.
the intel assistant cd creates a preinstall environment in a temporary partition during the intstall.
i'm tempted to run the installer and stop it at this stage during this process to poke around those files.
