Hello,

Like other people, I have a problem with hdaudbus.sys file during Windows setup. It ask for Microsoft UAA Bus Driver for High Definition Audio Installation Disk #1.

I found that the file seems to be in the wrong directory. By default, windows is searching in C:\$WIN_NT$.~LS, and the file is in C:\$WIN_NT$.~ BT. By changing it manually, it works.

I don't know DP enough to define a workaround, but if you have one, it would be a nice thing ! yikes)

For question 2) the only thing you have to do is to copy the OEM directory from <yourosdir> to <yourosdir>/I386/$OEM$/$1. Windows setup is copying it on your hard disk with all installation file, so there's no problem. Works well for me.

I have this problem on two models:

Nec Powermate ML6, motherboard MSI MS6367.
Fujistsu-Siemens Scenic D, motherboard Fujitsu-Siemens D1381 (sound chip Analog Devices AD1981).

I have DP Base 6.10 and DP Sound A 6801, DP Sound B 608.

I'm using driverpacks with unattended since april. We are using network install via PXE and it works great !!! You must use method 2 if you wants all drivers packs, and you have two modification to do:

- Use method 2 (as said before)
- Move OEM (which is in your winxp directory) to winxp/i386/$OEM/$1/OEM
- Add a line in your base.bat to launch DPsFnshr.exe

And that's all. At least it works for me ! smile

Maybe you don't need to move OEM, but for network install it's necessary to copy it on hard disk, because depending on your network adapter, sometimes your connection is not available because windows doesn't have the driver. wink
