It should also be possible to edit the .inf file that's included with the latest Realtek 8139 LAN driver.
Add the line:
%RTL8139.DeviceDesc% = RTL8139x.ndi, PCI\VEN_1106&DEV_3043&SUBSYS_14001186 :D-Link
to the .inf file.
