Hi yamin!
It is important that you do in this order with nLite and DriverPacks
1. Use nlite for automating and tweaking
2. Last stage before making DVD, minimize nLite
3. Start DriverPacks and point to folder where your nLite image is made and finish
4. Continue with nLite and make the iso file
smile

I can report that this gave me bluescreen (ftdisk.sys error 0x000007a):

DriverPacks BASE 10.06rc1

DP_Graphics_PhysX_wnt5_x86-32_1004.7z

(When I used DP it never showed the Finish window..)
I suspect that it is from DP Base.. but im going to test with DP Base 10.03.06 and see what happens..

Test 1 - with DP Base 10.03.06
(When I used DP it never showed the Finish window..)
I got the same blue screen so I'm going to try with this one instead: DP_MassStorage_wnt5_x86-32_100221.7z

Test 2 - with DP_MassStorage_wnt5_x86-32_100221.7z
(This time DP showed the Finish window..)
Hmm.. still the same blue screen.. s**t! that means it is some other DP that causes this.. or perhaps a combination? sad So im going to try with both DP Base 10.03.06 & DP_MassStorage_wnt5_x86-32_100221.7z

Test 3 - with DP Base 10.03.06 & DP_MassStorage_wnt5_x86-32_100221.7z
(This time DP showed the Finish window..)
Still same bluescreen.. Hmm.. I need to test with a clean XP and just DriverPacks so it is easier to see what the problem can be..

Test 4 - ...
It seems that the laptop I was testing on and VirtualBox gave me error even if it worked later when I tried on a different laptop later same day..
So this works (before the release of DPBase 10.06 and Masstorage 10.06 that is released now!)
DriverPacks BASE 10.06rc1
DP_Chipset_wnt5_x86-32_10052.7z
DP_CPU_wnt5_x86-32_1005.7z
DP_Graphics_A_wnt5_x86-32_1005.7z
DP_Graphics_B_wnt5_x86-32_1005.7z
DP_Graphics_C_wnt5_x86-32_1005.7z
DP_LAN_wnt5_x86-32_10051.7z
DP_MassStorage_wnt5_x86-32_100522.7z
DP_Sound_A_wnt5_x86-32_1006.7z
DP_Sound_B_wnt5_x86-32_1006.7z
DP_WLAN_wnt5_x86-32_10051.7z
DP_Graphics_Languages_wnt5_x86-32_1005.7z
DP_Graphics_PhysX_wnt5_x86-32_1004.7z

Test 5 - with DP Base 10.06 & DP_MassStorage_wnt5_x86-32_1006.7z
When testing with VirtualBox 3.2.4 it gives bluescreen if SATA controller is used, but when IDE Controller is used it works normal
On real PC it works as it should

Thanx again for great work guys! wink

Hi Newsposter

Thanx for info! I didn't know that it would be problem with HWID with the original drivers..
Yes I agree on the link problem.. I will remove the link because it does not help in this case anyway tongue

Cheers

Hi!

I want to be able to get the drivers for VirtualBox to work directly if I install XP in VirtualBox (version for now is 3.2.4)
I extracted all the drivers (i think that is necessary?) but you know better in this..
You can find them here:
- Link removed -

Many Thanx!!!

DriverPacks BASE 10.x is a final wink

Ok, so u mean it will come up last.. tongue
Then it will show here I guess?
http://driverpacks.net/applications/latest

Thanx smile

First I want to say thanx for all the work you guys put into this! smile

But why have official DP's 10.x for download when the official Base DP is still 8.12.5???
I know that I can use Nightlies to make it work.. but isn't the whole point to release official stable releases and the Nightlies for the testing..

What I mean is.. If there is no official Base DP 10.x for download why let people to download DP's 10.x? tongue

Im still waiting patiently for official Base DP 10.x and Masstorage 10.x smile

No.
The testing DriverPack MassStorage ONLY works with the testing version of DriverPacks BASE.  NOT with the release version (8.12.5) of DriverPacks BASE.
What version of DriverPacks BASE did you use? wink

I see, probably thats why tongue
But if I use the test version of DriverPacks BASE will it work with the regular DriverPacks?
If so, then I will try and let you know how it goes.. smile

Edited:
Im trying now with the Test Version DriverPacks BASE 10.03.06 so will see how it goes.. smile

Edited:
Works like a charm! smile
Probably the same for the HP 8440p

So in other words use for now the DriverPacks BASE 10.03.06 and the DP_MassStorage_wnt5_x86-32_100221.7z until the Official files comes out if you have a problem with the new HP Elitebook series..

Cheers!

PS. You can set this topic as resolved DS.

Hi folks!

Thanx for the excellent work with DriverPacks! smile

Now to my problem like many others when it comes to new laptops..
I cannot install XP with latest Driverpack DP_MassStorage_wnt5_x86-32_901.7z so I tried the Nightly DP_MassStorage_wnt5_x86-32_100221.7z but that one was even worse tongue (then I get that the txtsetup.sif is wrong)
So my question is if I can get a quick fix to try out for Windows XP..

Here is the HWID's for the HP 8540p (from Windows 7)

I made a combined version from HWID's Tool, RAID HWID Tool and HDA Audio wrapper smile

Combined version: Coop75
::----------------------------------------------------
:: Utility: Script to hardware IDs
:: Author: Bashrat, modified by JakeLD
:: Last modification: v1.3 13/09/2007
:: Compatibilité: Windows 2K-XP
::----------------------------------------------------
:: RAID HWID Tool wrapper from: OverFlow
::----------------------------------------------------
:: HDA Audio wrapper from: Debugger (DriverPacks Team)
::----------------------------------------------------

The script look for these devices:
PCI Devices
USB Devices
Input Devices
ACPI Devices
HDA Audio
RAID Devices

Enjoy! smile

--> SaveHWIDs v1.3.exe
Approx: 119KB executable rar file

Note: Just start SaveHWIDs v1.3.exe and it will unpack the files temporarily show the result in Notepad and then delete the files again..

OK, thanx OverFlow then I now more about this and hope you find a solution smile

I will post here a DPsFnshr.log if it helps when I encounter this again..

Hi DriverPackers! smile

I just wonder why I some times see the folder D is still there even if I choosed that I dont want to save drivers for later?
This happens on different computers and didnt think so much about it before and deleted the folder manually.
But now Im checking just to see if there is some good explanation even if I cant give any DPsFnshr.log for now.

Thanx!

Hi guys! smile
Im definitely going to try tomorrow with this new file because otherwise the new HP 6930p gives me a blue screen (in AHCI mode) sad
It works for me if I use a clean Win XP SP3 and just drivers from Intel Matrix Storage Manager 8.6.0.1007 (in TXT format) and Intel INF Update Utility 9.0.0.1008 (in PNP format) in nLite.
So I suspect that DriverPack MassStorage 8.05 was the one who made the BSoD.. even if I had added manually the drivers from the 2 Intel files, so my guess is that they were overwroted by MassStorage 8.05 later.. tongue

Update Now it works when I use DP_MassStorage_wnt5_x86-32_810F.7z!
Thanx for the good work guys! smile
