I am updating chipset driver pack . Please someone help me to find last working version of USB xhci driver from different manufacturers.

Be aware:  Not all ASMedia drivers work with XP...  For example, they cut off support for XP in the 1042 chipset after a certain version.

Dibya,

This driver pack didn't work for me.

XP Setup loaded and detected the drive fine, but then on reboot it BSOD'd to 0x0000007B.

Chipset was H81.

Is there any chance that a driver pack will ever be released for this platform?

I'd love to be able to integrate it into my XP SP2 final compilation.

Thanks

The 1.17.65.11 work for a HD installation of XP but not with my BartPE based on XP SP3 32 Bit. Therefore i use the 1.17.63.1 within the DP_MassStorage_wnt5_x86-32_1412115.7z

Thanks.

A late update... but I replaced the files with 1.17.63.1 and it booted without a BSOD.

FYI, this is a JMB368 that only has two optical drives on it (The motherboard uses a JMB368 for the lone PATA port).

I had some problems after I re-compressed it with 7-Zip, but that was solved by specifying LZMA as opposed to LZMA2 in the GUI.

Using DP_MassStorage_wnt5_x86-32_1412115.7z with the optical drive connected to the JMB368 controller, I am getting a 0x0000007B when trying to boot BartPE...

I know this BSOD has always been an issue with JMicron.  Can it be fixed?

Hello

I'm using the latest nightly, and my JMB363 isn't being detected.  In Windows it shows up as VEN_197B DEV_2363.

This is in a BartPE integrated disc.  The drive is attached to the eSATA port and the chip is set to AHCI in the BIOS.

Any ideas?
