hello, I tested and text mode it's okay, i have the driver ahcix700.sys but in GUI mode pc does not boot after install, I think we should to rename the driver in ahcix86 to make it work, we can test with the driver AM8? version 3.3xx?
why I have a SB9xx and I must use an old driver? Because i have server 2003?
Edit: my AMD AHCI Compatible RAID Controller does not install in GUI mode, that's why my pc does not boot.

Hi, it's me again, I still have the same driver in GUI mode (AHCIX86 v.3.1.1540.86 for AM6) and it does not work for me, the PC does not boot, as amd_sata does not work either in mode txt, this is the same problem as the version 12.03. i need driver for AM7.

Hi, me during the install in text mode I have amd_sata.sys driver and my PC dont reboot pending installation and in GUI mode it uses the driver file ahcix86 AM6 but my drives are not recognized by Windows(only c: drive), I tested several times and good driver for me is ahcix 3.2xxx Version of AM7. you think it is due to what?

Hi, now I'm sure the right driver for me is ahcix86.sys for sb8xx (i have one ASROCK 990FX EXTREME 4, sb9xx), the last version is 3.3.1540.26 and maybe it will work also on sb8xx. amd_sata.sys does not work at all for me.
I will teste on raid mode.
