Same problem for me. Unattended XP SP2 + hotfixes + all driverpacks = BSOD

all TRendnet drivers we once had became obsolete (supported by other newer drivers) and that is not a bad thing then, eh?.

I would like a link to the VIA audio download

Becoming obsolete is not a matter when you can update with other drivers but providing components with faulting driver is disdaining the consumer. How could a totally newby know that the right driver for its just bought Trendnet WIFI USB key is given at sis.com ?

Microsoft should include your pack in the near coming SP3 wink

Note that Windows XP (SP2 ?) need KB888111 (http://www.hydrogenaudio.org/forums/ind … opic=47079) for HDAudio.

Didn't try yet 3.40d (3.40c were fine).

This is my laptop model. I'll try during the week and will feed you back.

Well, most of these drivers come from retail material : the Trendnet USB (sis163u) never worked with provided drivers so I got them from SIS ; DLink doesn't update its components drivers so I got it from Ralink mixing it with DLink INF file to make it work sad.

Atheros and VIA HD Audio are from my laptop, originaly VISTA suited, but once again Fujitsu Siemens doesn't provide XP drivers...

Many thanks.

Hi,

So after reviewing my drivers here is the feedback :

    Sis163u BSOD, RT61 unrecognized (my precedent post) ;

    Atheros WLan AR5416 updatable ;

    VIA High Definition Audio updatable.

I put my drivers into an archive in a "sorted way" that may help you to integrate. I tryed to brute modify DP_WLAN_wnt5_x86-32_709 with bad result smile

Hi,

First, thank you for this great package.

Now, two little issues with Wifi adapters and DriverPack WLAN 7.09:

My Trendnet USB adapter (http://www.trendnet.com/en/products/TEW-424UB.htm) embedding SIS163u chip crash (BSOD) when entering WPA protected network, precisely just after I enter the key. The latest driver from SIS works fine :

http://driver.sis.com/network/wlan/wlan_163_r105.zip

I also have a PCI adapter DLINK DWL-G510 (rev. C) embedding RaLINK RT61 chip, not recognized. I used the inf file from Dlink driver with rt61.sys file (newest) from Ralink drivers.

Here is a small package containing both drivers :
