Hi,

Windows 2000 Professional SP4 Setup stops in the "blue" phase asking for "portcls.sys". As I found out, integrating "DriverPack Sound A 6.06.1" changes dosnet.inf instructing Windows Setup to copy portcls.sys, but the file itself is missing. But it is contained in DRIVER.CAB and SP4.CAB.
So, the slipstreaming process seems to modify the dosnet.inf incorrectly. Why is dosnet.inf modified because of a Sound-specific driverpack? I thought this would only happen if "DriverPack MassStorage text mode" is selected?

Hi,

after slipstreaming (method 1), there is a folder "D\C\S" with .inf and .cat files, but not including the required driver file SISAGPX.SYS (or SISAGPX.SY_). The file is included in the DP_Chipset_wnt5_x86-32_605.7z archive, but not in the quickstream cache. Slipstreaming without QSC fails because of the pending "Intel Chipset copy error".
I am using DP_Chipset_wnt5_x86-32_605.7z and DPs_BASE_6061.exe.
