Hello,

I found a newer driver at Windows Update:
http://www.download.windowsupdate.com/m … 580716.cab

Driver version 3.69.0.454

For me it works for this PCI ID:
PCI\VEN_1106&DEV_3043&SUBSYS_14001186&REV_06\4&19ABE7DE&0&00F0: D-Link DFE-530TX-PCI-Fast Ethernetadapter (rev.A)

Hello Helmi,

I wrote this so maybe someone could include this into the mass storage pack.

Hello,

I read in the german magazin c't that only the Intel ICH8R (with raid) could be used in AHCI mode but
it should work for ICH8 (without raid) also if you edit the file iaahic.inf a little bit.

Copy all the enties for the ICH8R (vendor ID 0x8086/0x2821h) and change the vendor ID for the ICH8 (0x8086/0x2824h)

I don't have a system for testing. So maybe some else could test this.

Hello muiz,

I made this upload because there is a new vmware scsi driver.
I uploaded only the driver so that you don't have to download vmware player
or vmware server.
Maybe you want to include the new driver into the next mass storage pack.

Hello,

I looked in the 3com folder (wnt5_x86-32_m1_DP_LAN_704\D\L\3) of the lan driver pack and I saw
in folder 3 and 5 only driver for windows xp. In the .inf file the driver for windows 2000 is listed.

Example EL2000x.inf:

File EL2K_XP.sys and EL2K_CPP.dll are in the folder but not EL2K_2K.sys.

Is this a mistake or is there a reason why the files are not in the pack.

Hello OverFlow,

sorry I wrote it a bit unclear.

The installation on a new PC with a SIS chipset work correct.
The only problem was that I was asked for the SISAGPX.SYS file. The file was not on the CD.
As I wrote I burned a new CD where I copied the missing file myself. Then everything work great.

The problem is that SISAGPX.SYS will not be copied via method 1.
During the driverpack integration I look in the tmp folder an I saw the file SISAGPX.SYS in folder
D\C\S\2k, D\C\S\2K3 and D\C\S\XP but they are not in the QSC folder and the are also not in
the folder of the install CD.
Maybe the is an little error in the sisagp.inf

Stephan

Hello Jaak,

thank you for your quick answer.

I am using base version DPs_BASE_704.exe
The installation works but I was asked where the SISAGPX.SYS is.
I burned a new CD with the SISAGPX.SYS an everything work fine.

I also saw that the same problem is with Windows XP.

Hello,

I have the same problem with DP_Chipset_wnt5_x86-32_7041.7z
The file SISAGPX.SYS is in the package but not in the QSC directory.

Any hints?

Thanks in advance

Stephan
