EDITED..... so should i try that? p.s. - i noticed the new drivers (post #14) do not mention JAHCI in the INF file...will that matter.

chkdsk /r didn't help.

I have no floppy so slipping the driver packs is my option.

Been trying to fix since Base 7012.
