I got BSD on my system during initial DVD-boot process at the point of "Starting windows" after loading of all drivers.

I found out that it only happends when my Nvidia SATA Stripe set is enabled (NVidia SATA Raid controller is enabled in BIOS).
MB ASUS P2N-E SLI (nVIDIA nForce 500 SLI, AMD Hammer), 4096 Mb (DDR2-800 DDR2 SDRAM), Dual Core AMD Athlon 6000+,

If SATA Raid controller is enabled in BIOS - setup falls to BSD with error code 0x0000007B.

This is only happened with a latest MassStorage Driverpack 7.12. Reverting to 7.09.01 helps solving problem.

I tried integrating updated since 7.09.1 drivers directly (one by one) into clean installation. I found out that BSOD appears after integrating this one:
\N\5 NVIDIA nForce 520 RAID/AHCI Controller 07/02/2007,5.10.2600.0995 (Nvidia 12.15)

Are there any possible solutions?

RunOnceEx must not "be added to the winnt.sif file"  wink

Damn! You are right. :-) Sorry...

Hedgehogmsx wrote:

No more error when I use RunOnceEx instead of GuiRunOnce !

I found this is because RunOnceEx not even added to winnt.sif file! DpsFnshr.exe is not executed in this case at all.

I think this is another bug.

Here is example of winnt.sif file after using RunOnceEx option:

It seems to me that dual-core processor owners have this problem after installing. (Or Hyper-threading CPU owners).

When installing drivers for SCSI/RAID Silicon Image SiI 3114 SoftRaid 5 Controller file SiRemFil.sys is missing if C:\D\m\S\7

It can be found in C:\D\M\S\4 OR C:\D\M\S\A C:\D\M\S\B manually (by clicking BROWSE button)

I have same error on Intel975XBX chipset with Intel Pentium4 640 processor
