when i see your post with the screen capture, it looks like my old problem with Jmicron 360 used with a single device on my motherboard.
You could try this:
putting this into your txtsetup.sif
PCI\VEN_197B&DEV_2363&SUBSYS_81E41043="jahci"
it seems JMicron 36x chipset needs jahci driver when used with a single device
ok the last test version works fine, no BSOD. Thank you very much
Ok, after testing this line in txtsetup.sif:
PCI\VEN_197B&DEV_2360&SUBSYS_03601849="jahci"
all works fine, no BSOD.
Bitman, maybe you can test it ?
muiz3, is it possible to have a test version with this line instead of :
PCI\VEN_197B&DEV_2360&SUBSYS_03601849&REV_02="jahci"
Thanks
Hello, i think you should try to manually write that in txtsetup.sif:
PCI\VEN_197B&DEV_2360="jahci"
PCI\VEN_197B&DEV_2360&SUBSYS_03601849&REV_00="jahci"
PCI\VEN_197B&DEV_2360&CC_0104="jraid"
PCI\VEN_197B&DEV_2361&CC_0104="jraid"
PCI\VEN_197B&DEV_2363&CC_0104="jraid"
PCI\VEN_197B&DEV_2365&CC_0104="jraid"
PCI\VEN_197B&DEV_2366&CC_0104="jraid"
PCI\VEN_197B&DEV_2360&CC_0106="jraid"
PCI\VEN_197B&DEV_2361&CC_0106="jraid"
PCI\VEN_197B&DEV_2363&CC_0106="jraid"
PCI\VEN_197B&DEV_2365&CC_0106="jraid"
PCI\VEN_197B&DEV_2366&CC_0106="jraid"
Maybe the line for this motherboard could be:
PCI\VEN_197B&DEV_2360&SUBSYS_03601849="jahci"
i will try in the next hours
Ok the test version works fine, no BSOD. After reading motherboard's notice, i've seen that the JMicron chipset is used only for Sata2 devices and for only 1 device, so no Raid possible. The Raid configuration is only available for sata1 devices (max 2 devices) and it's the Uli M1567 chipset which is used in this case. The Jmicron chipset is model 360 (No support for 'hot plug' functions), and i suppose that is a special config for this motherboard.
When entering in bios config, i've 2 choices for the Sata2 device: IDE mode and Sata2. When choosing IDE Mode, the notice says that no additional driver is required, but i had this mode enabled when BSOD appears at 1st boot...
Thanks for the test version, i'll test it in the next hours.

When i install DriverPack (Base 7.0.1.5 + Massstorage 7.0.1.1), [HardwareIdsDatabase] in txtsetup.sif is :
PCI\VEN_197B&DEV_2360="jahci"
PCI\VEN_197B&DEV_2360&CC_0104="jraid"
PCI\VEN_197B&DEV_2361&CC_0104="jraid"
PCI\VEN_197B&DEV_2363&CC_0104="jraid"
PCI\VEN_197B&DEV_2365&CC_0104="jraid"
PCI\VEN_197B&DEV_2366&CC_0104="jraid"
PCI\VEN_197B&DEV_2360&CC_0106="jraid"
PCI\VEN_197B&DEV_2361&CC_0106="jraid"
PCI\VEN_197B&DEV_2363&CC_0106="jraid"
PCI\VEN_197B&DEV_2365&CC_0106="jraid"
PCI\VEN_197B&DEV_2366&CC_0106="jraid"
during 1st boot , i get BSOD (0x00007B).
If i add the line: (which is the hardware ID for JMicron on my Asrock DualSata2) it's booting fine
PCI\VEN_197B&DEV_2360="jahci"
PCI\VEN_197B&DEV_2360&SUBSYS_03601849&REV_02="jahci"
PCI\VEN_197B&DEV_2360&CC_0104="jraid"
PCI\VEN_197B&DEV_2361&CC_0104="jraid"
PCI\VEN_197B&DEV_2363&CC_0104="jraid"
PCI\VEN_197B&DEV_2365&CC_0104="jraid"
PCI\VEN_197B&DEV_2366&CC_0104="jraid"
PCI\VEN_197B&DEV_2360&CC_0106="jraid"
PCI\VEN_197B&DEV_2361&CC_0106="jraid"
PCI\VEN_197B&DEV_2363&CC_0106="jraid"
PCI\VEN_197B&DEV_2365&CC_0106="jraid"
PCI\VEN_197B&DEV_2366&CC_0106="jraid"
My config is : one Sata2 HD (Maxtor 6Y 200Go) and 2 dvd burners on ide ports
As the title says, i've got BSOD on 1st reboot with that configuration.
I have to add this line to avoid BSOD:
PCI\VEN_197B&DEV_2360&SUBSYS_03601849&REV_02="jahci"
regards
Hi, after installing last drivers pack, i get BSOD on first reboot
To avoid that, i rewrote txtsetup.sif :
Before:
PCI\VEN_197B&DEV_2360="jraid"
PCI\VEN_197B&DEV_2361="jraid"
PCI\VEN_197B&DEV_2363="jraid"
PCI\VEN_197B&DEV_2365="jraid"
PCI\VEN_197B&DEV_2366="jraid"
After:
PCI\VEN_197B&DEV_2360="jahci"
PCI\VEN_197B&DEV_2361="jraid"
PCI\VEN_197B&DEV_2363="jraid"
PCI\VEN_197B&DEV_2365="jraid"
PCI\VEN_197B&DEV_2366="jraid"
Hope this could help (sorry for my bad english)
