I think it got deleted and the related INI entries sad

Well, I didn't delete any drivers or entries.  I only updated existing drivers.

OK, I moved the RIS drivers to the \RIS\ folder (how original eh?) smile
I'm also adding the BartPE exception code to \HP1\ and a few others.  The \RIS\ section won't have a BartPE exception because as I read it, that section must be used...right?

What's a Joshua driver?
I've got all the intermediate builds of DriverPack LAN all the way back to 8121.  Just tell me what folder it's in and I'll find it.

I'm finalizing this pack now.  I hope to have it finished by Monday.
Speak now or forever hold your peace! wink

If you have a Retail license, your key is on the Certificate of Authenticity sticker on the side/back/bottom of your computer.
If you have an OEM license, your key is embedded in your original restore disc or like Helmi said it's on the sticker attached to your user manual.
If you have a legitimate Volume (VLK) license, you don't need our help and you can contact Microsoft for a copy of your existing key (through your registered TechNet/MSDN account).

If you don't meet any of the above criteria then I'm 98% certain you are a pirate and don't deserve our help.

It's OK, I got them.  I'm uploading 1002r2 now...

Nevermind, I found them.  Hidden in the %allusersprofile%\appdata folder!

I'll see what I can do.

*Edit,
There are no newer drivers that can be extracted.  All the drivers in the current 1002r1 are still current from the drivers I could extract from the ralink downloads.
They make it very difficult to extract.  I had to run each installer within a VM then copy the folder/files from C:\program files\Ralink\ to get to the drivers only to find the files are identical.
The four newer driver installers (below) will not install drivers unless the hardware is present. sad

If someone can extract the drivers (.inf, .sys, .cat) and upload them somewhere, then I can add them.  But not until then.

Read the "Read before you post" link in my signature, then post the requested .log files please.
Welcome to DriverPacks. smile

We need more info than what you provided.

What you've asked is similar to "Why won't my car start".  Impossible to answer without more info. big_smile
Also, KTD is known to cause problems.  We prefer users begin using SAD instead.

If I go through and add the tags for all folders, then this will take a while! sad
There's 135 folders.

PS both of the RIS drivers could go in one folder wink

I'll be building a new release candidate.  CDXX I'll expect you to test it for us to see if it fixes your issue.
*Edit
Hang on a minute...Did you even TRY to use DriverPacks?  Which DriverPacks did you use?
Because there's newer drivers than the ones you linked to in the current DriverPack LAN for your hardware!

OK, so looking at the pack .ini, there are no BartPE skip-sections at all.  Do I need to add them?  For all the drivers or just a select few?
The \HP1\ folder will remain, but I added the WinPE HP drivers to to HP1 as well.

I've compared the drivers from the link you provided with the ones in D\L\B3 and they're bit-for-bit identical EXCEPT that the .inf and .cat files are different.  Because I can't rename the .cat files to a unique name without breaking the digital signing, I'm adding the HP drivers to a separate folder: D\L\HP1.  This should solve your problem.
This will be incorporated in DriverPack LAN 1002r4.
@ef, if you can test for us successfully, this will make it into the final build. smile

I Have!  I love it!
Thank you.

We've been very busy updating some of the older nt5 DriverPacks (Windows 2000, XP, 2003).  The WLAN pack hasn't seen a new release in over a year and a half.
No Longer!
Please keep in mind that these DriverPacks are "Release Candidates" meaning that they may become a release with zero changes or we may go back to the drawing board and revamp the entire pack.
Only your test reports can decide for us!
Please report back both successes and failures so we know how we are progressing.
The sooner we get your reports back, the sooner we can release!

Links removed for final release.
