I would remove all the excess packs for now, except DP_Chipset & DP_MassStorage.
  You might have too many.  Also, this will take much less time to integrate, burn, install & test.

DP_CPU & DP_Monitors are obsolete and superfluous respectively, BTW.

Do ensure that your uEFI is up-to-date.
    (if you don't know what that's about, skip it; you could "brick" your board)

Also, what we really need is the HWID's whilst in AHCI mode.

Please also note during the Initial partitioning which driver as indicated by question marks whilst uEFI/BIOS is set to AHCI mode.

xxxxxx Mb Disk 0 at Id 0 on bus 0 on ???????? [MBR]

Otherwise, one may need to install as IDE, then switch to AHCI to note the HWID's for the AHCI controller.

Alternatively, one could use the "UltimateBootCD", here --> http://www.ultimatebootcd.com/button.gif

PS:  nLite?  Y/N?  You did mention RVMi which is good.
                        If "Yes", make that a "No".  Best to use a "virgin" source modified by only DP_BASE.
   smile

Maybe somebody with a "Intel(R) Sunrise Point-H SATA AHCI Controller - A103" is willing to give it a try?  hmm
  I pulled the HWID from the PCI ID Project pci.ids (2014.12.10)  http://pci-ids.ucw.cz/

Also, a new driver (..\I\dps_IDER_pciide.inf) has been improvised to ensure Intel IDE-R connected drives have Write Caching disabled.  Complimentary drivers have been made to utilize IntelIDE for the regular SATA Controllers, where support doesn't exist from Intel.

For PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_880B&CC_0106, it would appear the Lapis Semiconductor driver that was handling that HWID cannot seem to function on XP, as it was released.  iaStor.sys is now used instead for XP.]

Fixed

10.01.24 nightly Jeff aka OverFlow (Jan 24 2010)

updated
Replacement drivers that were missing HWIDs
(If a driver is a replacement it MUST replace all HWIDs supported by the previous driver ;).

dpti2o  [AD4]
- verified

adpu160m [AD5]
- restored hwid
PCI\VEN_9005&DEV_0081

symc8xx [C] ms_1
- need special case for a single driver that replaces two or more native drivers...
- Fixed, simply assign no HWIDs to one or more (ms_X) section(s)
- combined old ms_2 and ms_3 into ms_1
symc810 [C] ms_2
- see above. replaced.
sym_hi  [C] ms_3
- ms_2 is also replaced
-- see section for example!

mraid35x [L2]
-missing / added
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_1960&SUBSYS_0493101E
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_1960&SUBSYS_0475101E

-Lost Hwids? Not referenced / listed in MRAID35X.inf.
 These were previously left behind by BASE (not removed or added)
 the driver should still work for these HWIDs but they are not specifically listed in MRAID35X.inf.
 the updates to BASE 10.x will remove these from txtsetup. They might need to be re-added to the mass ini,
 however they should be picked up / covered by the super-generic PCI\VEN_101E&DEV_9060 that IS still listed ;)
 (they are probably just redundant)

 At least according to the L6MRAIDX.inf - again it may work, but it is definately not supported.
 This may need to be changed back. Note: Two of these HWIDs were originaly / natively listed for [L2]

@MattyUSA:

"At this point what will help you?"

  First, i think it would help if i started a new topic for these discussions concerning the 2 release candidates to avoid whl0806's topic from becoming more cluttered with off-topic stuff.

When posting again, please post at the following addresses:
[ReleaseCandidate] DP_Chipset_wnt5_x86-32_1302.
[ReleaseCandidate] DP_MassStorage_wnt5_x86-32_1302.   smile
   It's OK to post there now, even though i haven't finished my initial posting.

"Shall I gather the HWID's from the Dell Optiplex 3010 or just stick to the Dell Latitude E6400 for testing."

For any machine where the packs are working, please just post the [RAID Devices] section in the [RC]DP_MassStorage topic above.  For any machine where the packs don't work, or have problems, please post the full HWID's list along with a "DP_BASE  .log" that a fix may be investigated & implimented.

I apologize for not contacting you sooner.

confirmed good on ASUS P4P800 ICH5R disc install.

Thank you for your patience.

I wonder if this is one reason the RSTe driver (in I4) wouldn't work for Caleb37 previously.
If so, it may be easier to predict this "behavior" long before integration.

from amd_sata-txtsetup.oem:

[Config.amd_sata]
value = Parameters\PnpInterface,5,REG_DWORD,1
value = Parameters\Device,oem,REG_DWORD,1
value = Parameters\Device,AmdSataShutdown,REG_DWORD,0

[Config.amd_xata]
value = Parameters\Device,oem,REG_DWORD,1

We cannot really assume to much, or take decisive action, as we have no further feedback yet.
There is also a possibility, if they are still installing from USB/CD-DVD that the USB bus is not always available.
After all, there are reports of USB Keyboards/Mice disconnecting/reconnecting periodically.
The proper HWID needs be established, too.  We could still be "chasing our tails" over a hardware issue.

I noticed previously that there seemed to be at least a few intel drivers that didn't include what appears to be a safe-mode Pnp setting.  Actually, in the current DP_MassStorage, only four .Inf's contain the following entry:

[pnpsafe_pci_addreg]

Those are "I\RAIDSRC.inf, I4\iaAHCI.inf, iaStorA.inf, & iaStorS.inf.
Only I\iSSetup.INF & RAIDSRC.inf contain the following key:

"Parameters\PnpInterface"

from iSSetup.txtsetup.oem:

; This section specifies values to be set in the registry for

; This section must be filled out for storage controllers that
; are PNP adapters like PCI and ISA PNP adapters.  Failure to do this
; can cause the driver failure to load. Must also add the section
; [HardwareIds.scsi.ID] to identify the supported ID's.
;
; <key_name> is relative to the services node for this device.
;   If it is empty, then it refers to the services node.
;   If specified, the key is created first.
; <value_name> specifies the value to be set within the key
; <value_type> is a string like REG_DWORD.  See below.
; <value> specifies the actual value; its format depends on <value_type>

;value = parameters\PnpInterface,1,REG_DWORD,1

the txtsetup.oem says:

iaStorS_SATA0 = "Intel(R) C600 Series Chipset SAS RAID (SATA mode) Controller"

I have not yet searched the *.oem files, as there is no loaded "oem" iFilter for that extension; d'oh.

RyanVM integrator is good for integrating updates, etc.
DP_BASE has been my foundation for integrating drivers.

Whatever you use, please just integrate these two Release Candidate packs for testing, if you agree.

DP_Chipset_wnt5_x86-32_1301rc1
    -->   http://forum.driverpacks.net/viewtopic. … 725#p50725
DP_MassStorage_wnt5_x86-32_1301rc2
    -->   http://forum.driverpacks.net/viewtopic. … 735#p50735

They are both mature enough that they should be at least "mostly harmless".

Should you attempt to install while in AHCI mode, ensure to install from a CD or DVD (RW).

If still unsuccessful then please post your HWID's (HWID's Tool linked in OverFlow's or my own signature).

The update DriverPacks feature isn't going wrong, these two packs are still in the "Release Candidate" stage.

You can still help.

It should install properly in AHCI mode when installing from CD/DVD, after integrating the DP_MassStorage and DP_Chipset packs (see above) using DP_BASE.

WinSetupFromUSB may also work with "DP MS.iso" disabled (in Advanced options).

If neither work for your hardware, first ensure that you have latest BIOS from the Manufacturer updated.  Beware that improperly applied BIOS/firmware updates can "brick" your board.  Do so only at your own risk.

If that doesn't make a difference, then please post your DP_BASE.log in a new topic.

those are for USB\Floppy support in textmode.
don't add those.

The USB ports.  It's possibly the USB ports.  Well, that or the unsigned Security Catalog.

Intel wrote:

silicon."

So, what stepping are your PCH EG20T's?

"7. During the installation, the message box below may appear:

At this time, any low/full speed USB devices (for example the keyboard and mouse)
that are connected to USB port 1 (Device2:Function0), USB port 3
(Device2:Function1) and USB Port 5 (Device2:Function2) will not function for a
brief period during installation. This may appear due to an OHCI driver issue for
USB Host controller #1 (Device 2: Function 0-2). These USB ports will resume
working once you can dismiss the above message box by clicking Yes. Figure 19
indicates the internal USB port connections.

The proposed workarounds for this issue are:
— For a customer design that has PS2 ports, please use a PS2 mouse and
keyboard to facilitate the installation.

— For a customer design that has USB port 0/2/4 (USB Host controller #0 Device
8:Function 0-2), use those ports for the USB mouse and keyboard connection
to facilitate the installation.

— For a customer design that has only ports 1/3/5 (USB Host controller #1 Device
2: Function 0-2), please connect a USB mouse and keyboard through the USB
high speed hub."

I note that Intel lists the PCH EG20T as having 2 SATA ports.

Intel wrote:

"Note: Slipstreaming the Intel®PCH EG20T SATA AHCI controller driver onto the Windows XP SP3 installer will not work."

How would they know that?  A statement like that makes me think they belong to the "sore-optimist's" club!  yikes

I am surprised that part of the XP install procedure does not involve standing on one's head whilst drinking a glass of water and headbanging "Bang your head"!  big_smile

May it be that the oddball device ID originally in DP_MassStorage_wnt5_x86-32_1301r1 is what it is that is at issue.
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_880B&CC_010601 is what is contained in DP_MS_1301r1.ini, iohsata.inf, and txtsetup.oem.

For this very reason, i believe that DP_MassStorage_wnt5_x86-32_1301r1 has the best chance of working.

Another theory i have involves that other HWID listed in txtsetup.oem for LSI (not the USB Floppy HWID's).

+1
Also, ensure that within winnt.sif that in the [Unattended] section that you have the following line (due to the iohsata driver having an unsigned Security Catalog.)

DriverSigningPolicy=Ignore

I am uncertain if the [Data] section might need:

UseBIOSToBoot=0

If all else fails, here's what Damnation said earlier:

Damnation wrote:

maybe these are essential?"

It's either that or Y2K bit whl0806's install.

Both of you can clear your Quick Stream Cache from the DP_BASE folder and then reintegrate.

QSC        = "yes"

QuickStream Cache available for DriverPack MassStorage text mode drivers!

C:\_q7\DPs_BASE_1006\QSC\wnt5_x86-32_uni_DP_MassStorage_1301r2_textmode\DriverPack_MassStorage_wnt5_x86-32.ini

Maybe QSC="no" is best for now.

If i remember correctly, this is meant for those doing many integrations with the same packs.

If that integration doesn't work, reintegrate using DP_MassStorage_wnt5_x86-32_1301r1.
Remember to start with a virgin source (no updates, etc.) for testing.

Also,

(Forgive me if my translations are off, i'm using Google Translate.
  I don't mind if you correct me, that is good.)

If using WinSetupFromUSB, you may need to disable the DP.MS.iso.
Otherwise, you may have to install from DVD or CD (i love those rewritables), somehow.

If that doesn't work, then please post your DPs_BASE.log.

I am open to suggestions that do not make me fall afoul of my own nation's laws.

Edit:  I hope that it is simply a problem with the terminal you are downloading from, or your ISP.

Mediafire is getting to be a real pain.
  It's bad enough that they have seemingly started "clickjacking" in pages, including the "Copy link to Clipboard" buttons.
Now they make it appear that one might need to pay to download.

I note that DP_MassStorage_wnt5_x86-32_1301rc1 is still downloadable from my end.
If that didn't work for you whl0806, the other links may not help either.

Well, if you're going to let that out, perhaps prematurely, they might as well have access to the current DP_Chipset candidate.
That way they can offer informed opinions on the null-drivers vs. the active stuff, or even if it all coexists properly on an install without leaving any "Yellow Bangs!" or gaping-wide security holes.

From the aforementioned Silicon Image Product Brief on page one you can see that the video & I2C buses are linked to the HDMI transmitter and the audio is facilitated by the actual codec chip.  They do not detail any connections between the IGP and the Audio Codec, though, yet i infer that they are indeed there.

In the manual, it shows two types of adapter that allows to connect a tv with s-video or component, plus audio which can be either standard audio (probably stereo) or numerical audio. Unfornately the book doesn't specify the part number for this adapter. Technical support didn't know the part number neither did the Dell part department. It can only be found in the US Dell site, but not in Canada."

I read "numerical audio" as "Digital Audio".  Anyone interested in a "pinout"?

I wonder; is the Intel driver interfering with the actual IDT/SigmaTel driver?

It may be that the order of installation is of importance.
What happens in Vista when the Intel HDMI audio driver is withheld from installation?

Wait, that's not it.  I'm incorrect again.
That install from your first post should have read

"610486 Mb Disk 0 at Id 0 on bus 0 on fst376xp [MBR]"

FST376XP.SY_ exists in my DP-integrated source, so the executable is available .
For that controller, the pre-existing driver should have done the job.

Another thought is that your attempts with the Promise controller were early in diagnosis.
If you've replaced your CMOS battery with something powerful enough to light a "white" LED, as a DC current test, you should be better prepared for success.  Prepare yourself for unimpressive speeds, as the FastTrak's capacity is limited by the PCI bus to 110MB/s or so even in RAID, after overhead.
