Overflow is correct, how you are manipulating the folder structure is what is causing your problems (and unsupported).
$OEM$ needs to be located at the root of your disc, NOT in the i386 folder.
This is well documented at http://unattended.msfn.org/unattended.xp/
More specifically: http://unattended.msfn.org/unattended.x … 103bf8a74/

Ok guys I am not sure what is going on with the new 808c test pack but if you look at the nv4disp.inf it only has mobility hardware id's in it?

Oh crap. sad
Sorry, my mistake.  I was playing with the new modded .inf and forgot to include the desktop version.
Fixed locally, uploading...

No need.  They're supported now! smile

I'm working on a G_A 8.09 release.  I'll make sure your HWID is included!

Oh, nevermind.  I see the problem.
Your HWID isn't supported in our .inf.  Got it!  Working on a solution now. smile
BTW, your first image isn't loading.  Never saw it.

So let me get this straight...
You integrated all the DriverPacks listed above (G_A 8.04) and they installed the nvidia 7400Go OK?
Then you tried to update the drivers with ones from laptopvideo2go (you didn't list which driver version) and they didn't work.
If that's true, then there is no problem with the Graphics DriverPacks.  And this thread can be moved to the Sound forum and retitled to [REQ].

The drivers you download from laptopvideo2go won't work on mobile graphics unless you also download the modified nv_disp.inf file (which does support mobile chips).

Thank God for that! smile

If it replaces the drivers in I1, do you use a modified inf to support the other non-4 GPUs?

No,  check out the .inf files yourself.  The HWIDs in both are exact duplicates, with no additional HWIDs added.

I uploaded the G_B 8.08a testpack.
I'll be gone in 12-hrs.  See you all when I get back.
No more posts from me until then.
...off the grid.

Why rename inf advanced in nv4_go?

Because when Windows enumerates the drivers, it loads the .inf files alphabetically.
nv4_disp.inf (loads first, digitally signed)
nv4_go.inf (loads next, NOT digitally signed)

We want signed drivers to load first.  That's why. smile

Well, your HWID list certainly doesn't help in troubleshooting. hmm

Why Alcxau.inf renamed to Alcxau.inx in R1 folder?

I don't know.  RealTek did that, not us IIRC.  Maybe Jaak renamed it for a reason (dup HWID)

Why do you remove your HWID descriptions?  It makes it very difficult to help.

Downloading...
*Edit
This is a direct replacement for the drivers currently in G_B \I1\
I'll see what I can do, but I'm going on 'vacation' for a week starting tomorrow.  I'll be off the grid.

The team is already discussing the option of moving obsolete/derelict drivers into a "Legacy" DriverPacks.

Umm, my dad's name is Hans, but he has no clue what I do here, so it's irrelevant.  Move along people, nothing to see here! smile

If you plan to only run the DriverPacks on x86 hardware, you could scan for any \amd64\ or x64 files and delete those.  A few may have crept in.

It is my intention to keep all the DriverPacks that I build as international as possible.  I will not remove any additional languages just to save space.  Besides, that's more work for me! big_smile

Did you read the first post? roll
The new drivers are already in the test DriverPacks.

Welcome to DriverPacks! smile

1). You'd have to decompress each DriverPack separately to a folder, run a batch file to remove the .chm and/or .hlp files (leaving behind your own language of course), then recompress the DriverPacks and integrate normally.
2). That line is not needed since the DriverPacks Finisher deletes that directory when it's done (either immediately, or after the next restart).  It's redundant.

Hmmmm.  hmm
Well, I still haven't optimized the .infs yet.  Maybe I'll get a chance this weekend.  I'm still working on a new G_C dp for testing.  It's over 120MB compressed so I'm trying to get that down to size.
