3rd party packs are PNP driver only. They won't help if your boot drive isn't recognized.

nLite will give you the ability to add the "text mode" driver for that as you know.

Muiz and the DriverPacks team and our DriverPack testers have been working their behinds off.

thx for the answer.

1) I'm already using nLite to make a XP cd with drivers. easy, fast, and evolutive i can add which drivers I want. both for XP32 and XP64. I have successfully integrated DP_lan, DP_chipset and DP_masstorage (32 and 64bits) + my own drivers

2) if I use a 3rd party, do it enable the update of an existing drivers in DP ? for example, LSI is old in DP. if i make and update in 3dr party does it overcome the old one ?

well your half way there.

send us a link to the latest drivers that are tested and working with your system and we'll add, beta test, and hopefully release an update.

Nlite http://www.nliteos.com/ will allow you to add additional drivers to the text mode setup portion of the installation till then.

A third party driver pack of your own making will work for most things.
