My mainboard used ITE controller to handle the IDE raid, so everytime I reinstall my XP, I need to have driver disk in my FDD.
Now I decide to slipstream with driverpacks's mass storage pack because the FDD is broken.
I follow the instructions of tutorial step by step and successful create a slipstreamed XP cd.
After I booting this cd from my optical drive, unfortunately, the procedures of installation are different from the original XP cd.
Using this slipstreamed cd, XP can successfully detect my HDD without needing to press the F6 key, but it direct goes to the screen where you can select / modify the partition(s).
This is not same as the original XP cd, where the first screen were let you choose to run the "Recovery Console" or "Install Windows".
And also the screen where can detect if there are any 'Windows' exists and letting you to choose "Repair" if needed.
I don't need the 'unattend method' while installing Windows. I just want everythings (the steps of installation) remain the same as the original XP setup cd after I slipstream with the mass storage pack. If can, I also want to put the CDKEY inside because I am lazy to type it everytime.
I will appreciate if anybody can give me some help (detailly if possible).
Thank you very much.
