Way back in November when I was struggling with the A860 I updated the modem pack and have kept updating it even through 10.3 for:

...in the device manager manually pointing the path to the drivers,

Well, those Motorola SM56 drivers caused me problems before, that's why the .inf has a HWID commented out to prevent using those drivers on my system.
I'll take a look. But if no drivers work (even the OEM manufacturer ones), then hardware failure is possible.

I found an error in your latest pack when installing modem card.

"You can not start device" (Code 10)

platform: StandAloneDrivers
source: hfslipped xp sp3 pro

Tough question.
Does the phone need seperate drivers to be reckognized by the system and therefore for the modem drivers to even work?
If so, the case is clear, phone drivers to phone and the phone-as-a-modem drivers to modem.
If it's both in one package, you may want to toss a dime or something
Doesn't really matter, I'd say, as long as you don't duplicate them.

I have some problems with v10.01.01
if i include in my "3rd party DriverPacks" folder i have no driver installed at all! Like if i have not slipstreamead video, lan, chipset drivers...
right after i delete v10.01.01, everyting becomes ok!
