			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>yes to all </p><p>except cab compression <br />to trigger base into creating the cabs you will need an I386 source folder<br />It is not neccessary to use it after it creates your $OEM$\$1\$D folder (with the cabbed drivers)<br />but base will not cab them unless it detects a valid source.</p><p>so all of the above is possable (and i thought descibed well in the posts you refered to...)</p><p>except you will need a source os to cab the files. on the up side it wouldnt matter if it was XP, win 2000, or win 2003 as the source.</p><p>I would suggest to you that you could put the OEM folder with the 7zip archives on the cd with the script.<br />yes i realize that it extracts them to the local machine but it also removes them when it is done. <img src="http://forum.driverpacks.net/img/smilies/wink.png" width="15" height="15" alt="wink" /><br />jsut a suggestion that gets the DriverPacks onto a CD without having to have a source OS.</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>hello</p><p>this is what i want to do</p><p>a) i want to creat a Stand Alone Driver cd (drivers in cab format so as to fit all on one cd)</p><p>b) i want to creat a Stand Alone Driver dvd</p><br /><p>cd/dvd criterias</p><p>1. cd/dvd is to be used post os instalation</p><p>2. use DP_Install_Tool.cmd from cd/dvd</p><p>3. auto launch &quot;DP_Install_Tool.cmd&quot;</p><p>4. all necessary files for &quot;DP_Install_Tool.cmd&quot; available on cd /dvd (i.e. DPINST.exe, DPInst.xml, un7zip.exe, DPsFnshr.exe, etc)</p><p>5. the resulting cd /dvd should be able to update / install all drivers on any system (BlackBox) without leaving junk files / drivers behind</p><br /><p>And i want to do this manually, that is without original source os files</p><p>is this possible?</p><br /><p>also is it possible to use a dummy source..or another other workaround possible?</p><br /><p>thanks</p><p>p.s. do the SAD cd/dvd &#039;s created in the maner explained here</p><p><a href="http://forum.driverpacks.net/viewtopic.php?id=2264">http://forum.driverpacks.net/viewtopic.php?id=2264</a></p><p>if used with DriverPacks BASE 8.05 meet my 5 criterias?</p>]]></content>
