Hi
I think soporific wrote a warmsnow with more gui.
btw, the name rings a bell.. I think he is a gifted member. (and not just a word I read in a dictionary.. )

Projects like this don't start if there was no percieved need.
We had many requests for a ""post-install-minisetup-plus-finisher" (in which Finisher is our "exception ruled CPL installer and cleanup tool"") and once the WAIK provided the tool we needed to do a "post install mini setup" people like Jeff, warm snow, nuno brito and soporific (and others whom we have perhaps never heard of) started coding.

I'd like to see the works.
GhostE, where is the url of that project?

You do not chose which to install.
XP setup will automatically install those drivers it detected HW for during setup.

If you do not use KTD, those drivers that no HW was found for will not stay on your hDD and waste any space, if that is your concern.

So I don't quite get your point in this.
The idea is to provide an unattended setup, that means there's no one sitting in front of the monitor waiting to tick some boxes so setup can continue.
I see that your screen has a timer built-in, but still.
That would mean you'd have to preselect some packs so it will install them if you miss the window.
And if you aren't going to do it unattendedly, you might as well manually install the packs.
This is already provided by either this method http://forum.driverpacks.net/viewtopic.php?id=2264
or this http://forum.driverpacks.net/viewtopic.php?id=2403.

PS: I take your "screen shot" as a concept drawing and not some actual GUI that works, right?
