Error code 10 is a hardware error - IE this device cant start... i don't think drivers are going to fix it.

If we are going to play the guessing game i guess he hooked upboth power connectors at the same time

Seriously though, just run DriverPacks BASE and select the "Stand Alone Drivers" option.

I have been trying yo install a WD6400AAKS SATA 2 hard disk
but it is not seen by the system.
The system is a Jetway PM9MS M/B with a 2.66GHz Celeron and
one 60 GB IDE Boot Drive
There is no setup provision for a SATA disk in the Award BIOS

From the device manager driver properties I get the following :
VIA SATA RAID CONTROLLER : viamraid.sys version 5.1.2600.300 (01/08/2004)
Location : PCI bus 0, device 15, function 0
This device cannot start. (Code 10)

From the VIA RAID Tool I get : "No stand-alone disk and No usable disk array attached,
please check if any disk array is broken"

Some help please !

i think since you did not copy a graphics driverpack that no .INS files were found and that is the file not found error.

Is it true there are no >ins files in the DriverPacks.net folder?

perhaps you can see the bug . dont know... it dont mentioned "where" he cant find the file.. perhaps you?

edit the cmd file and rem the @echo off line and tell me which line is comlaining that the file is not found please!

no folder named of those 2 ... well just for understanding. i started dpbase.exe , i said use SAD option , said use LAN drivers, choosed "method_2" . and said "slipstream". then he created this driverpacks.net folder and nothing else i did...

did i do something wrong?

only dpbase and the LAN drivers (all recent ones, from yesterday).

well i this this SAD option and then put the folder "driverpacks.net" from c:\ on my usb-stick.

i started the .batch file but got some error after the extract was done. it says "directory/file not found"... is this normal? well i only used the LAN drivers, not the other ones...

Quite simple to do

1) Run DriverPacks BASE as normal on any OS source folder useing Method 1 (M1).
Doing so will create "Source Folder \$OEM$\$1\D\"

2) Burn any or all of the driver folders that are in the $OEM$\$1\D folder to a CD.

Notes:

It is not neccessary to select MassStorage Text-Mode for this and it will save a little time if you don't

Method One will cab compress the DriverPacks so they all will fit on a single CD.
All of the DriverPacks when un-7zipped will require about 1.5 GB of disk space.
All of the DriverPacks when cab compressed require about 500 MB of disk space.

The $OEM$\$1\D folder will contain a sub-folder for each type of DriverPack you select in dp-b.
If you wish you may select individual sub folders of the D\ folder for your "Drivers Only" CD.

after finished do this:
1. find the device manager items without correct drivers.
2. click "Update driver" for one of those items
3. click "Install from a list or specific location"
4. checkbox "Search removable media" and click next

Hi.

I want make 2 CD,the first with (sound,LAN,WLAN) and second with graphic drivers.

i want use this cd to installe some unknown hardware in some PC but i don't know how i can procede..juste extact and burn or what more ??
