OverFlow wrote:

I am further impressed by the detailing of what worked for you. Your experience may help others.

Yes, that's why I'm posting here. I spent a lot of time looking in google for possible solutions. I tried several things and nothing worked, except by including the drivers from Fernando. The lesson here: Windows XP is discontinued, so intel won't release newer driver for this system; that's why a third party driver must be searched to support the new hardware. I guess creating a VistaPE or WindowsPE CD would be also a solution; they use either Vista or Windows 7 instead of Windows XP.

OverFlow wrote:

did you use this driver for windows install or for BartPE Plugin?

I used it for building a BartPE CD; however, it isn't a plugin. I just created a folder called: "iastor" under:
<PE_Builder_ROOT>\drivers\SCSIAdapter

then, I copied the driver files there. So, A the end everything looked like:
<PE_Builder_ROOT>\drivers\SCSIAdapter\iastor\iaahci.cat
<PE_Builder_ROOT>\drivers\SCSIAdapter\iastor\iaAHCI.inf
<PE_Builder_ROOT>\drivers\SCSIAdapter\iastor\iastor.cat
<PE_Builder_ROOT>\drivers\SCSIAdapter\iastor\iaStor.inf
<PE_Builder_ROOT>\drivers\SCSIAdapter\iastor\iaStor.sys
<PE_Builder_ROOT>\drivers\SCSIAdapter\iastor\TXTSETUP.OEM

Afterwards, I rebuild the iso image and the drivers were automatically included; no need of activating them under the plugins.

Best regards
Josef
