I came across this, You probably didn't name the driver pack like the rest of the other driver packs. I just droped my compress file in the 3rd party and thought the same thing..

example: DP_Chipset_wnt5_x86-32_704.7z

name yours DP_3rdParty_wnt5_x86-32_704.7z

Hi DPer's,
Downloaded the 7z compresser and used to compress the '3rd party raid' files for my app, however, when I run DP base and go to select 'the 3rd party drivers field (I did put the files in DP base '3rd party driver packs folder.) the DP base field is greyed out. Why is that?
P.S. I have already used the 'mass storage devices driver pack; slipstreamed it and it did boot and load, but I didn't try a fresh install, (not reformat, just xp repair install) I'd like to try the '3rd party pack install, any ideas???
