On a fresh installation of win 7 without network access and the chipset driver pack extracted in my drivers folder , windows can't find any suitable drivers there for my mainboard and its onboard components:

Thanks for such a great site, tools and forum.

I've a problem with one of the DriverPacks. I've been trying to sort this since few days and just can't and I really need a help, please.

I have few workstations HP ProDesk 600. I've tried beta DriverPack Chipset for Win7 x64 and got 4 devices not installed.

1) PCI Serial Port
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_8C3D&SUBSYS_18E7103C&REV_04
2) PCI Simple Communications Controller
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_8C3A&SUBSYS_18E7103C&REV_04
3) SM Bus Controller
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_8C22&SUBSYS_18E7103C&REV_04
4) Universal Serial Bus (USB) Controller
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_8C31&SUBSYS_18E7103C&REV_04

I've updated beta DriverPack for chipset with new drivers (I really tried to do this correctly) and it kind of worked but I still got one problem. I've noticed that when I install drivers for "Universal Serial Bus (USB) Controller" new device appears called Intel USB3.0 Root Hub and doesn't get installed.

I've checked DPINST.log and found this:

If I now manually try to update driver for this device, pointing to the same folder where I have drivers for "SM Bus Controller", device gets installed and all is fine. Alternatively I can just run installation of that DriverPack again and again that device will get installed just fine.
My updated DriverPack for Chipset.

I would appreciate any help.

Hi i will update the drivers Vista/7 (i think i will update all the drivers), so i will begin with chipset/lan/Massstorage. i would like please if it is not much effort, someones post all the drivers links required from the date of the last driver, whick i will download and then update.
for example chipset is 12-12, so the links of the drivers should be after that date

Blue Screen with Chipset Driver

Sorry I'm posting this bug here, but I'm sure a dev could expedite it vs. figuring out how to post to the bugtracker for this project.

Anyway, using dism to inject drivers into a boot.wim for Windows 8 (issue on x64 and x86 ). Usually I inject C/L/M, but got a blue screen.

Integrated packs and then folders one by one and it came out to be x86/Win7/USB/Via/2. I don't know about x86/Vista/USB/Via/1 since I deleted that (and the rest of the Vista folders) straightaway.

[SLVD] Graphics problems on Intel integrated (Q45/Q43 chipset)

Error message "This device can not find enough free resources (Code 12)" for the graphics driver (integrated intel). This happened because I had a "universal image" with lots of driverpacks, the culprit was AMD pci express (3GIO) filter driver being installed from DP_AMDfilter_wnt6-x64

Removed this pack (obviously this particular image would not need an AMD filter with this motherboard and driver.

sorry if this is in the wrong section, I thought I would post this in case someone else had the same issue.

host PC was an optiplex 760 for future searches!

edit: mod delete if you feel it is appropriate, I looked at this problem from the wrong angle, I was looking at the GFX card failing where as someone else http://forum.driverpacks.net/viewtopic.php?id=4516 looked at the filter causing issues! My searches were all based on intel chipsets rather than from the AMD side (I only noticed the driverpack whilst combing through device manager for anomalies hence spotting the AMD on an intel board!)
