Hi,

I am in the process of reloading Windows XP and all drivers on a Dell Inspiron B120 laptop. I have the original resource CD, and access to the Dell drivers and downloads website, etc. and have gotten everything to work except for the onboard NIC. Dell claims it is a Broadcom 440x 10/100 integrated controller, but none of their supplied drivers work with the device. The install program claims that it successfully installs the driver but it actually doesn't. I am able to manually install the driver through device manager, but it yields a "code 10 (this device cannot start)". Here is the device instance ID.

PCI\VEN_14E4&DEV_0010&SUBSYS_00100010&REV_02\4&2FA23535&0&00F0

Is this device really a Broadcom 440x 10/100, and if not, where might I find the correct driver for this device?

Thanks in advance.

Edit: I checked the PCI vendors sticky in this forum under Broadcom and device 0010 is nowhere to be found. I suspect that is my problem. Any clues?
