great! thanks.

I've Seen this on my last few server installs.. would be really nice to see it included in MassStorage. Couldn't find it in the list and the install doesn't detect any drives with the current MassStorage pack included, so i can only assume it's unsupported so far. These drivers work perfectly when used normally (F6 + Floppy)

Thanks to the whole team... you guys rock!

i'm using powerpacker to make the cd, but i integrate using integrator, then use driverpacks base to insert the drivers... I dont actually use powerpacker to insert the drivers (haven't had good luck with it)

How can i use dpbase to slip drivers into an existing powerpacker-created dirstructure?

Thanks
TheUni

so i create the disk in powerpacker, then make a settings file for each? for example \root\xoho, \root\xopo, etc...

Then.. choose multiboot mode and pick all 6 of those files?

All that sound about right? And do i need to worry about the folders at the root of the disk? eg. \xoho, \xopo (NOT in \root\) etc.?

Thanks for the quick help

Also, when you say the "root dir" does that mean the main dir that contains the multiboot stuff? Or the actual "root" folder inside of that one? I hope that makes sense...

Can anyone point me towards a guide on doing a multiboot integration?

I regularly create a disk with xp home/pro, oem/retail/upgrade for each. Total of 6, disk created with Siginet's PowerPacker

I've been just manually integrating into each OS on the multiboot disk, but it's cumbersome and doesn't seem to work well

Any help would be appreciated

starting to crap up my own thread there, heh

on a whim, i tried an older version of dp_base (6.08) and everything seems to have worked perfectly. Only thing that worries me is this line in the DPsFnshr.log:

<crit> could not delete element from array!

something i should worry about?

exact same thing here. Same error, logs look the same, and a manual run works beautifully.
just added chipset and nic drivers.

my process was:
nlite -> ryanvm -> driverpacks -> powerpacker xp

maybe it has to do with the fact that me and op are using multiboot cds?

oglsmm: are you?

maybe we can narrow it down...

EDIT:

Just spent hours playing. redid the iso, tried nlite after ryanvm, tried integrating more (chipset+cpu+storage) drivers, tried w/o the multiboot disk...

all same result. just like the topic picture.

EDIT2:

Tried 1 more time. Vanilla XP Oem install, driverpacks only! (no addons, no nlite, no multiboot), same results. seems like a nasty bug, i can't make it go away!

EDIT:

Ignore my post, it actually belongs in this thread:
http://forum.driverpacks.net/viewtopic.php?id=748

i'm getting something that sounds very similar. Installing on a vm.

I happened to grab the error:

Line 0 (File "c:\DPsFnshr.exe"):
for $i=1 to $exceptions[0][0]
for $i=1 to $exceptions^ ERROR
Error: Subscript used with non-Array variable

my log is pretty much the same, but it ends about halfway through moofaah's. my last line is:

2006-10-22 02:15:11 : <INIT> Logging of HWIDs complete.
