I want to remove the USB Drivers beacuase it will save a lot of space. And i need to do this so that i can fit the SATA LAN WLAN and Chipset Driver Packs on the same Windows XP CD.
But i'm not really sure what to remove to clean this Driver Pack from the USB drivers.

HI,
I like to do a smaller version of this Driver Pack without any USB drivers. What do i need to remove to accomplish that? only removing the "U", "U3" and "Ul" folders?

Thank you for all your hard work you do. It's time for another donation. wink

Any ETA on the new MassStorage pack? smile

Good thing I waited before i did my next Up-to-Date WinXP. smile

HI,
Why has the WLAN DriverPack increased from 28 MB to 44 MB? yikes
I have the feeling that the two "IntelWiMAX.msi" files (24 MB) belong in the WLANutils Pack.
And i also noticed that the "changelog_wlan.txt" file is empty. smile

Yeah free internet. big_smile

I had a lot of success with Fernando's SATA Drivers, my first SATA driver i integrated was his Intel SATA Driver and nLike. smile
I didn't know that he was still alive and kicking after 10 years it looks like he only moved to his own forum, good to know. smile

Thanks now i'm sure what to use (IntelIDE). smile

And did you notice when you run the DriverPacks Finisher that the IntelIDE & pciIDE .ini file are not deleted from "C:\"?

If i run into less BSOD with the IntelIDE then with the pciIDE on a Windwos XP installation, then that's all in need to know. big_smile

Will there be any conflict if i use the IntelIDE with the DP_MassStorage pack? I'm use the DP_MassStorage for Windows XP installations so eSATA is not important. smile And what was included before in the DP_MassStorage, IntelIDE or pciIDE?
Sorry if this questions sound nooby but i'm really confused about this.

What's up with this "3rd-party" MassStorage packs? smile Should i integrate them all or only one? hmm and if only one which one would be the best for old computers? smile

There is no malware problem i had to reformat his PC because he turned it into a malware Server. smile
I did a fresh installation (no updated) and i had to use a USB Flash Drive because the CD-ROM Drive was broken.
If i helps i still have the HWID's Tool text file from this computer:

Shouldn't take long until his PC has more malware then programs installed. I will then use mr_smartepants testing method.
And the Chipset was: NVIDIA MCP 7A

Fernando's has made his work public. ;-)
http://www.msfn.org/board/topic/51140-i … i-drivers/

Í got this problem at PE stage with the installation Disk and Flash Drive. I couldn't test the normal DriverPacks BASE because the PC is not at my home anymore. sad

With the "[Nightlies] DP_MassStorage_wnt5_x86-32_1304-1309"  this nVidia SATA controller blow will not show any Hard Disk Drives. But if i integrate this nVidia drive then everything is working.

PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_0AB9&SUBSYS_02B61028&REV_B1\3&267A616A&0&58: Standard AHCI 1.0 Serial ATA Controller

VirtualBox has an option to simulate (IDE, SATA, SCSI, SAS) and if i use SATA instead of IDE then i get a BSOD in VirtualBox.
And about the DP_Chipset is it important to include this too for a better SATA compatibility?

"To err is human, to forgive $30."     lol

Done, but you should have used € instead of $ big_smile

Okay looks like did a mistake. neutral
Before i re-installated Windows 7 on my computer i wanted to take the opportunity to do a quick test installation with Windows XP and  "DP_MassStorage_wnt5_x86-32_1304-1308" but i made mistake and integrated the "DP_MassStorage_wnt5_x86-32_1209" instead of "DP_MassStorage_wnt5_x86-32_1304-1308", D'OH!. mad
But it wasn't all for nothing because i still found a little problem with the "DP_MassStorage_wnt5_x86-32_1304-1308". If installing it on VirtaulBox with the SATA option then i get a BSOD and with "DP_MassStorage_wnt5_x86-32_1209" i don't get a BSOD but it takes a longe time to startup the desktop.

Sorry for the confusion i was under time pressure the day i did all this. But in 3-4 months i get my new PC so i can test it again on this PC and this time with the right MassStorage Driver Pack. wink

I did install it from the CD and i get also two different BSOD depending on which DriverPacks BASE version i use.

BSOD with DriverPacks BASE v10.06:
http://s2.postimg.org/oxx5bmc51/Win_XP_32_bit_BSOD.jpg

BSOD with DriverPacks BASE v11.09.01.2b :
http://s21.postimg.org/aod7tje7n/Win_XP_32_bit_BSOD.jpg

I use Windows XP and i get the BSOD also if i only incude the "DP_MassStorage_wnt5_x86-32_1308271.7z" Driver Pack.

I get a BSOD error with the latest Pack (DP_MassStorage_wnt5_x86-32_1308271).
