sorry bout the pause, havent had a chance to get back to it yet Bash,

no way to nlite, its crap for me, all the combinations of removals ive tried with it just cause me grief with errors so ive given nlite the flick, just using driverpacks and ryanvms updates...(not worried about the extra size as using dvd...

and yes, the latest driver when slipstreamed normally wouldnt work for me, until i put a copy of that file into i386, with method 1, bit busy at the moment to get back into it, when i do i'll be bak to let u know how i go wink

haha joy for me this morn, i got it to work, made a few changes, now i gotta figure which changes made it work wink
bbl

edit:
it seems adding si3112r.sys to \i386 (or compressed (.sy_)) works for me...
i am now able to see the raid partitions smile yippeeee...
this was with the latest 1.0.56.1 driver from the latest mass storage Driverpack (method 1)

bios - 4276 sil3112a bios in trats  d27_619R2_2T bios for the NF7S-v2
(found here )

sad no joy 4 me...

cheers Bash, but ive already updated to 1 of Trats bios' with the updated SI bios integrated wink

ill report bak soon in a day or 2 when i can wink

hiyaz, i am havin awful trouble too, tryin on Abit NF7S-v2 and Asus a7n8x-e deluxe mobos.

i keep seeing 2 sata volumes instead of the 1 raid volume on setup, i'm still trying, and have a question.

may i ask why there is an 'A' folder with old 2004 driver files in it within the \D\M\S\5 folder ?

atm am about to try with  1.0.56.0 rather than the newest pack which has 1.0.56.1 (which didnt work 4 me :[ )
