IBM/Lenovo have at least 3 different drivers for different ThinkPad models. I have no idea why they were not combined together.

The Agere Systems Modem in a IBM ThinkPad T41 was not installed by DP Modem 8.06

The HWID is

PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_24C6&SUBSYS_05241014&REV_01\3&61AAA01&0&FE

The IBM Driver is at

ftp://ftp.software.ibm.com/pc/pccbbs/mo … ma23ww.exe

But I suspect that the driver is just not detected properly and is already in the Modem DP

The older DP Soud like April seemed to support this device but the newer DP Sound removed it.

The Agere Systems AC97 Modem in a Compaq Presario B3821AP was not installed by DP Modem 8.06

The HWID is

PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_24C6&SUBSYS_3089103C&REV_03\3&61AAA01&0&FE : Agere Systems AC'97 Modem

The Compaq Driver is at

ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp30001-30500/sp30332.exe

The SoundMAX AD1888 onboard ASUS A7V880 Motherboard is detected as VIA Vinyl Audio AC97.

The driver is located at

ftp://ftp.asus.com/pub/ASUS/misc/audio/ … 0_WHQL.zip

Can this be fixed in the next driver pack release ?

The HWID is

PCI\VEN_1106&DEV_3059&SUBSYS_810D1043&REV_60\3&267A616A&0&8D: SoundMAX Integrated Digital Audio

I used

DP_Sound_A_wnt5_x86-32_805.7z

and

DP_Sound_B_wnt5_x86-32_805.7z

Thanks.
