You don't want to update the pack but we must do it for you free right ? Help us helping you. And seriously making a whole new pack for one driver takes way much time the updating a working one.

?what the?
1, dude its quite easy to update it,no doubt.(but that should be left to the author,i wont go stealing and update sum one's work without their consent)
2,i never asked you or anyone to do it either.(i may have between the lines implied if sum one would like to test my pack,but thats it!)
3,now thats a warm welcoming comment that will surely push me to try to do more packs..yeah right.

on vien peu etre dla meme place mais chpense pas qu'on est sur la meme longeur d'ondes..

well thing is i dont want to update/maintain a whole pack just for 1 driver...

also ,i think the inf in the misc pack is erroneous;

[SourceDisksFiles.x86]
xusb21.sys=1,x86
wdfcoinstaller01001.dll=1,x86

and should be like so;

[SourceDisksFiles.x86]
xusb21.sys=1
wdfcoinstaller01001.dll=1

appart from changing the source file location entries,i removed all entries for the x64 files in my pack.

edit:even with ",x86" it will still install,it means it also looks in a different folder(x86) than the root dir,my bad.

ok so i though i'd try my had at this,i dunno if it works.

here are the x box 360 latest drivers for their controllers.
DL:DP_XboxController_wnt5_x86-32_80613.7z
Size: 1.36 MB
MD5:F82B05D52C0F118E329AFD3D7AC251FC

so,ure driver versions should look like this if it worked:

http://img263.imageshack.us/img263/7350/newbitmapimagela0.jpg

infact no ide drives are connected, i have 6 sata nforce ports and 1 silicone,all my hard drives are on the nforces, and my optical drive is on the silicone(yes i have a sata burner drive)

i did a new build of my install disc with the old mass storage release and all is working fine.when i used the new pack 1st time and had errors i knew you guys had updates the silicone drivers, so i took an ide optical drive and did a test run to see if i could install without problems,but i still had problems.

hey thanks, ok ill give em in a sec...

edit here it is,i only copyed the pci part...:

and is it normal that the txtsetup give drivers for nforce 2 when acctualy i have  an nforce 590i board?or do they have all the same drivers?

i always use clean source,i nerver slip ontop of obsolete versions.

edit: i have a small request to make,i dont know if some one could give me a link to the previous mass storage driver pack so i can do more test and find out exactly what the oproblem is here ,thx.

1st of all hi and thx for driverpacks.net being in exsistance!

im prety sure the latest modification of the mass storage pack is causing trouble with sata hard drives/optical drives. i can boot my install disk fine but when the fake setup(method2) kicks in it complains that DSP.....exe(forgot the name) is missing.previous pack worked fine.ill continue to do more tests.the same disc i used on my sata drives system was used on an ide drive only system and all went ok,thus why i think the satadrivers included in the pack are the culprit and i think i narrowed  it down to the new mods for the silicone drivers.n e ways thx for evryones hard work around here i realy appreciate it.
