OK, I'll definitely check them out.    What about this comment on driverpacks.net ?

It is highly recommended that you use either nLite or the RyanVM Integrator to integrate all current hotfixes prior to integrating DriverPacks. This will create a secure, up-to-date Windows install with minimal downloads from the Microsoft Update website. Please refer to the above websites for detailed instructions for those programs.

Are you saying not to use nlite for anything or only the driverpacks ?

Are you referring to this post over at WinCert?
Maybe there were different driver versions for different (S)ervice (P)ack levels way back then (2005!?!)
I honestly don't know why you're using such an old driver (and from a 3rd party download site which is worse!) when the new driver (in our DriverPack Chipset) can be found from the Intel site here: http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_ … nloadType=

Please use DriverPacks (NOT nlite!) and don't try to use old drivers unless you absolutely must.

lol  small world,eh ?

No, there was some dude on 'THIS' forum   http://forum.driverpacks.net/viewtopic.php?id=1927    that was talking about the "SP folder shouldn't exist" or whatever and the thread is closed. That post on wincert was from me.

To answer your question, I don't have a lot of knowledge about drivers (except their function) so the last driver update I did was probably from the dell driver site and I think they are behind..

I don't even know how to search out the driver I need honestly, I always just use my service tag number on the dell site But thanks for hooking me up.

Why not use nLite ? It's very convenient.

What is the Sp folder inside of an Intel chipset driver ?  I've search for this info and it led me to this site and this site only.  I would have posted on the thread that it was on but is is closed. The one guy just said that he thought that the Sp folder should not exist.
