I don't have access to an HP computer to confirm the actual name of the JAN0100 device, but it has something to do with the multimedia buttons driver on the keyboard.  Yes, usually found on the Application and Driver Recovery disc that came with your unit or you can look for the download on HP website.

I got this when I Googled your JAN0100 device: http://www.drivershq.com/Drivers/VistaD … ivers.aspx.  This is for Vista64, so you'll need to check elsewhere (HP perhaps) for the XP driver.

I answered question about Management Engine Interface in your other post.

I believe this is what is called the Intel Advanced Management Technology (AMT, for short) Inferface.  Problem with this is that there are different revisions of the AMT and drivers for each revision.  I had to do the same for the AMT on a Portege m750 and m700.  They didn't use the same driver as they had different revs of the AMT.  I think you should Google the actual ID and DEV number ("VEN_8086&DEV_2E24") to find similar drivers to the one you need.  Don't worry if they are not from the same vendor (IBM, Acer, Dell or whatever) as they are just the same Intel drivers as far as I know.  They just use the driver version they know that works even if Intel has posted a newer one.  If you do try to download from Intel site (http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Product … p;lang=eng), try to limit your search to downloads related to chipsets that are similar to that of your computer.

OverFlow, I believe Chipset driverpack has one version of the AMT interface already, but just one version.  May not cover lephute's computer.

Hope this helps.

As far as I can tell, there is no official support for Intel Turbo Memory in WinXP.  Lenovo has this dummy driver so that you don't have an unknown item in your Device Manager.  Perhaps it can be built into the Chipset Driverpack for those of us using Santa Rosa laptops that support Turbo Memory (A.K.A. ReadyDrive)?
