Bingo!  I copied WIN51IP to WIN51 and it detects it correctly now.  Thank you!

This is what my "RYANVM" directory looks like:

C:\XPCD\RYANVM>dir
Volume in drive C is Puppet
 Volume Serial Number is 10CB-A1B3

 Directory of C:\XPCD\RYANVM

07/03/2006 06:08 PM <DIR> .
07/03/2006 06:08 PM <DIR> ..
08/23/2001 07:00 AM 110 AUTORUN.INF
07/03/2006 06:05 PM <DIR> I386
08/03/2004 06:56 PM 1,314,816 SETUP.EXE
08/23/2001 07:00 AM 10 WIN51IP
08/03/2004 08:07 PM 2 Win51ip.sp2
               4 File(s) 1,314,938 bytes
               3 Dir(s) 117,343,293,440 bytes free

Are WIN51IP and WIN51IP.SP2 the "IDENT" files you are referring to?  I found this post and compared what it says there with my files and they look valid.

Unfortunately, I still get the error when I pick "C:\XPCD\RYANVM" in the path selection box sad

Thanks for your help!

I just downloaded the DriverPack BASE 6.06.1.  However, I am having trouble using it as I keep getting the "Could not detect Windows version" error message when I try to select an installation directory.

My directory structure is as follows:
C:\XPCD\Bâshrat the Sneaky - All the DriverPack stuff
C:\XPCD\FRESH_SP2 - A copy of my XP installation CD with SP2 integrated
C:\XPCD\RYANVM - The results of using the RyanVM Update pack with RyanVM's integrator on the FRESH_SP2 directory

I've tried putting C:\XPCD\FRESH_SP2, C:\XPCD\FRESH_SP2\I386, C:\XPCD\RYANVM, and C:\XPCD\RYANVM\I386.  No luck with any of them.   The log shows the following:

2006-07-02 23:47:53 : <GUI>  Changed Windows installation files location to C:\XPCD\FRESH_SP2\I386.
2006-07-02 23:47:53 : <ERR>  Could not detect Windows version: no IDENT files were found!

The RyanVM Integrator doesn't have a problem identifying the Windows version when I give it "C:\XPCD\FRESH_SP2" as its path.  It correctly identifies it as XP Corporate SP2.

Am I not using the correct path or am I missing a step somewhere?

I didn't have any problems using the previous version of the DriverPack software, if that makes a difference.

Thanks,
Anand
