I had a difficult month, but just got back to this and didn't want it to go without thanks. The new pack works great and in the past 2 days I have tested it liberally across a myriad of Intel systems (including the Santa Rosa based laptops) and it has worked phenomenally.

Thanks again!

thanks all. Busy day at work today, but I should be able to play with/test it on Monday.

UBCD4Win uses BartPE as a basis and no longer includes static Mass Storage drivers of any sort in the latest version. It includes the BartPE plugin to pull the latest Mass Storage driver pack and populate the drivers when you build the ISO, so whatever is the latest public build will be pulled in when you enable it. If you rebuild the ISO and enable the plugin, it will delete and repopulate with the latest pack.

@cdob: On the D830 on my desk, I did find the iaahci.inf file did reference ICH8M PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_2829&CC_0106 for the ICH8M entry, so assuming I'm looking at the correct file, the answer would be yes.

I am a UBCD4Win user and love the new Bâshrat the Sneaky integration, but I cannot figure out how to add individual support for the new Intel Santa Rosa Chipset. We just picked up a fleet of Dell Latitude D830s and I cannot find a build that will see the Hard Drive. Any suggestions?

I have copies of the drivers, and on the old system (prior to Bâshrat the Sneaky integration), I know how to add and update them. I've read a bit here, but this is all so new to me, I'm a little lost. Anyone want to give me some guidance?

Thanks,

Benjamin
