This is not going to cost much time Bâshrat, it's not a request to fix a bug.
Please reply my request.

You have made the finisher before as a batch file, right!
There is no reason to forbid me from that request. and of course you can do it.

Thanks for contributing TigerC10.
Exactly, what exactly isn't working? As far as I know, it's pretty much bugfree.
Do you want to contribute back to the community? Then I might give you access to the SVN repository.
It's not a bug actually, but rather Timing problems.
For example: when KTD is Off, the finisher sometimes deletes the decompressed directory for the Printer Pack (D\3\P) before the "Found New Hardware Wizard" window appears. and so my printer isn't recognized.
I also use Autoit script to handle the "Found New Hardware Wizard" window before the finisher.
Also i'm using Autoit script to eject the cd at this stage, and i face a message like.. "please inject the cd for the finisher to complete running".

Topic: [Inquiry] Decompilation of the finisher (7 replies, posted in Feedback and Support - DriverPacks Base)
I have tried many times to install my XPCD with Bâshrat the Sneaky drivers, but i face some problems with the finisher.
I also waited too long for a new Base version after 7.05.2 but there nothing new yet!
Of course Bâshrat done so hard work with The Finisher & DriverPack Base with Autoit, and of course he is free to keep his developing rights.
I know about Autoit and i can debug my problems.
But i don't understand what happens inside the finisher.
If he could allow the decompilation that's would help me very.
I hope Bâshrat understand my problem and few users' problems around, and he is free to accept.

Feedback: A Modem not included in the pack.
I have installed XP with DP_Modem_wnt5_x86-32_702 yesterday on client PC, but it couldn't recognize PCtel modem (maybe the folders 1,2 in the p folder in the pack contain an old version)
So I searched & downloaded this PCtel Modem driver and it works.
Can we see this in the next pack?

@Bashrat. No deleting on restart, Where is this key should be? HKLM or HKCU.
I doubt it has been created, but I'll make new XPCD & check that key again before restart tomorrow.
@jtdoom. Uploaded
Thanks for caring people.

Topic: [Finisher Bug] Dir "D" stays in %systemdrive%. (9 replies, posted in Feedback and Support - DriverPacks Base)
Please someone confirm this problem, I'm using BASE 7.05.2
My order for creating XPCD:
1- nLite: Slipstream RVM Update Pack 2.1.11 -> Finish nLite session.
2- DPs_BASE: Slipstream the DriverPacks into XPCD.
3- CDIMAGE: Make the ISO.
I also delete those three backup files (Dosnet.org, Txtsetup.org & Winnt.org)
More details in these files:
DPs_BASE.log
DPs_BASE.ini
DPsFnshr.log

Re: [REL] [x86, 32 bit] DriverPack Printer HP v7.05.15 (52 replies, posted in 3rd Party DriverPacks)
I would like to help Maxximum,
But i don't think that THIS "Universal Print Driver (of any type: PostScript, PCL5, PCL6)" can install THOSE "Supported Printers" as an unknown devices.
Cause i extract the exe: "hpupd40pcl6-32" - Universal Print Driver (PCL6) ...
but didn't find the driver files for those "Supported Printers - Ex: HP LJ 1300"
I'm sure that this "Universal Print Driver" is concerned with something else other than installing an unknown printer.

Re: [REL] [x86, 32 bit] DriverPack Printer HP v7.05.15 (52 replies, posted in 3rd Party DriverPacks)
I don't think the problem is PCL6.
I think this "HP Universal Print Driver Series" doesn't have the driver files for which called "Supported Printers" , OR i have less experience installing it.
The problem still exist in the latest pack, while the previous pack could detect those printers (ex: hp LJ 1300)

Sorry to say that: The pack dosn't recognize hp laserjet 1300
maybe "Dir 1" dosn't operate like hp says.

Re: [REL] [x86, 32 bit] DriverPack Printer HP v7.05.15 (52 replies, posted in 3rd Party DriverPacks)
I made a new XPCD with the original pack (7,05,15)... the dir removed.
The problem happens when removing some directories from the pack, then compress the folder "DP_PrintersHP_wnt5_x86-32_70515.7z" with 7z (ultra)..
But you told me it's OK.
3- Can i remove a dir, then compress the folder "DP_PrintersHP_wnt5_x86-32_70515" via 7z - Ultra without problems.
ex: dir "07".
3/ Yes
Could you please tell me how Exactly you compress your pack.

maxximum,
The printer pack dir didn't removed and stay in the %systemdrive% after the setup.
although i'm using "Disable KTD".
Is this usual or not?

Re: [REL] [x86, 32 bit] DriverPack Printer HP v7.05.15 (52 replies, posted in 3rd Party DriverPacks)
You removed some directories..
1- Is the removed directories (or drivers) still working via dir "01" ?
ex: the previous dir "08" - HPlj 1300.
2- I noticed that all hp drivers in dir "02" can be added via Add Printer Wizard in Windows XP. so what is the need?
3- Can i remove a dir, then compress the folder "DP_PrintersHP_wnt5_x86-32_70515" via 7z - Ultra without problems.
ex: dir "07".
.....

Re: [REL] [x86, 32 bit] DriverPack Printer HP v7.05.15 (52 replies, posted in 3rd Party DriverPacks)
I don't understand !
- How can be that the decompressed size is small (105 MB), and the compressed size is big (47.8 MB)
- The decompressed size of this pack is 105 MB not 112 MB like you said in the top of the topic.
I'm asking because the size is critical for me.

Re: [REL] [x86, 32 bit] DriverPack Printer HP v7.05.15 (52 replies, posted in 3rd Party DriverPacks)
well..
- The previous hp pack was 134 MB - uncompressed -.
- This hp pack is 105 MB - uncompressed - (after makecabbing some files).
While..
- The previous hp pack was 40.7 MB - compressed -.
- This hp pack is 47.8 MB - compressed - !!! (it should be smaller than this size)
