I WOULD REALLY LIKE TO GIVE YOU THIS INFO, BUT I CANNOT SEEM TO GET THE RIGHT LINK TO THE ASUS SITE FOR THE SATA DRIVER.
When I go to the site and get to the place the driver is listed and copy the website link and then paste it in another window it only takes me to a site where I have to enter > Motherboard  >  Socket 1156  > P7Q57-M DO/CSM  and then  select OS  > Win XP.  It then shows me the updated drivers for this board.  This is the link:

http://support.asus.com/download/Downlo … uage=en-us

The HWID cannnot be got because the machine is not yet built [I have it on order].  I would be more than happy to give the HWID once I get the machine, and would pretty well have to wait until then anyhow as I am on a Linux machine right now.

I was just getting ready, by getting all the slipstreaming stuff together.
The Asus P7Q57M-DO/CSM  is a corporate stable board with on board sound and video [thru Chipset?] coupled with the Intel i3-550 CPU.  There are other updated drivers on this site and I am getting the builder to update to the latest BIOS before it is delivered but will be putting WinXP on it myself and have read that it would be easier to get that SATA driver installed while installing WinXP because I am using a Sata drive for storage and OS.

Any advice on these matters would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks.

I am looking for Sata drivers for my Asus p7q57 board.  I am installing Win XP  sp1 on it and was thinking to use nlite and slipstream for SP3 with driverpacks incorporated.
I know I can get them from asus, but would like to incorporate them with the driverpacks I use already from your site.  Can I just add the driver I get from asus site?
Thank You
