Some laptops manufactured during the transition from USB 2.0 to USB 3.0 had both 2.0 and 3.0 ports on the same laptop. My understanding is that because the mobo oems had not yet integrated USB 3 fast enough into all of the motherboards, the PC oems included USB 3 ports that were connected via PCI Express.
Are most of those USB 3 drivers included in DP MassStorage as opposed to DP Chipset?

What is the estimate of how complete the driver collection is for driverpacks?
In other words, what % of the XP and Vista/7 PC's out there does driverpacks have drivers for?
