Okay i just assembled the system with the 630a motherboard (ASUS M2N-VM HDMI, to be precise) and ran the same CD with DP_LAN 803A. The chip seems to be a MCP68 PVNT and LAN is working fine.
I don't know if this is neccesary, but i think it's better to post HWIDS DPsFnshr.log:

Hmm... i just tested the same CD on another computer and... NIC not working.
Don't mix this up! This time it is a nForce 430 chipset/MCP51. (Foxconn/WinFast 6150BK8MC)
If this is irritating, i can open another thead.

To be precise: I extracted the files in MCP51/Ethernet/ on another machine and put them on a usb stick for installing, without Network Access Manager.

Is there a smarter way to host a 6 kb lzma compressed file?
I can not test the other mainbord now, because i am waiting for the remaining parts of the system to be shipped (only have cpu and board).

Okay, new hardware = new problems. This time Asus X50N Notebook with Nvidia 630a chipset. I have tested the actual DP LAN and the one in the nightlies, but both don't work with this ethernet controller. So I've been searching around for drivers and found two drivers that seem to be newer than the one in DP_LAN_wnt5_x86-32_8024.7z/D/LNV6. The first one is from the Nvidia site, second one is from Asus F5N Support Page and looks like a customized build of the latest driver from the nvidia package.

DriverVer = 05/04/2007, 65.7.5Both driver inf files contain new sections for the support of MCP67, but there are some customizations and the binaries differ.
Adding the Asus driver to DP_LAN works fine, replacing the actual driver with the one provided by Nvidia also works, but then DHCP functionality will break. Due to lack of knowlegde i can't figure out how to merge these two drivers, sorry.
Note: Yes, there is no Windows XP driver for the Asus X50N at the Support Page, but X50N and F5N are based on the same chipset.
I have also purcased a motherboard with the Nvidia 630a chipset, i hope i get a chance to test this soon.

Got a Toshiba A210 19Z Notebook. Installing WinXP SP3 RC 2 Build 3311 with DPBase 8.01 RC2 and all actual DriverPacks, the WLAN device is recognized as "RTL8187B_WLAN_Adapter", but the driver ist not installed.
After a quick research (german) i found that there had to be added an additional line to the inf file.
Adding this line:
%RTL8187B.DeviceDesc% = RTL8187B.ndi, USB\VID_0BDA&PID_8197&REV_0200to section:
;; IDs for 98SE/ME/2K/XPIn DPW802/D/WRE4/net8187b.inf seems to solve this problem.
