FenyX,
DriverForge is superb with WinXP. I have built an universal image and using DriverForge to feed drivers to the hardware after image task. DriverForge does not work on Windows 7 (because of Syssetup.dll,UpdatePnpDeviceDrivers difference).

Chris
Hi,
Thank You very much for Your quick reply!
Have a great weekend and many thanx for Your effort on supporting and developing!

Hehe, confirmed!
I found a prog called Driver Pack Suite & Driver Installer but none of these are as good as DriverForge for WINXP. (=> have found no way to install drivers silently yet at least..)
Hi,
Thank You for Your fast reply!
Will DriverGeek work like DriverForge (=> install drivers after image task)? If You need beta testers, I could help if needed.
I love DriverForge by the way so thank You for the the effort with it

Chris
Hi,
First, thank You for a great program! And thank You who is distributing to these drivers!
Is it possible to run this program from command line and/or install drivers automatically upon program start?
Thanks in advance!
BR,
Chris
Hi,
No, sorry
I built an answer file with WAIK and I was thinking of using FOG to distribute the universal image once done. My colleague is working on MDT and my first opinion was that it seems to suck quite hard vs. FOG (allthough MDT has its good sides..).
I do not know what DPINST.exe is, I will look into this right now. Thank You a lot for Your fast reply!

kickarse,
Are you still supporting/working on DriverForge? May I trouble You with a question if You are still working on this (or similar) project?
BR,
Chris
Hi,
Ok, so I was building an universal image for Windows 7 and all went fine until DriverForge got into action and tried to install drivers on first logon. After some google it seems that DriverForge and W7 is not compatible.
The issue seems to be the following command on W7:
rundll32 syssetupdll,updatepnpdevicedrivers

So, how do You update drivers automatically on W7?
Thank You in advance for any hints!
BR,
Chris
