We only support DriverPacks and do not find drivers for individuals.

Tip: On Hp/Compaq's web site, try to find the drivers for Vista 32 and write the make and model #'s down of the items you need.
Then go to the components manufactures site (Broadcom, Intel etc.) and download the XP drivers you need.

If you want to be nice to the other user on this Forum, copy the link to the driver and post on this Forum and we will try to add it to the next version of DP's.

An interesting article for anyone wanting to test Win7 longer than 30 days without adding in a key #.

Enjoy

So, are you going to share or is this a secret.

Please others out, they may help you in the future.

Maybe including this in an update may help other people.

It's not difficult to find this stuff, it takes 5 minutes or less and a little logic in your searching pattern to find. Find the Vista driver and the items name and work backwards.

Give people food and they will always come back, teach them how to farm and they will not bother you again !!!

The timeout issue is with ESET in my case. It looks as if EST virus checks the file before committing it to the hard drive and that is the cause of the problem.

Windows 7 does have a shorter timeout than XP.

Found this on the Net. May be of interest.

These are "Upgrade Anytime" prices.

Windows 7 has a habit of timing out on larger downloads especially if CDC or hash checking is done at the end.
I have been at 99% of a driverpack download and get an error "Server not responding".
Seems as if Win 7 has the timeout set lower than XP. The link below allows the timeout to be set at whatever you want.
Default is 32, I set mine to 240 and downloaded Sound B 906b3 without a problem, could not do that previously.

And yes, it's free and works with XP thru 7

p.s. Allows a lot of other tweaks as well

As far as I can see drivers for that model are not available, several people say the Panasonic KX-P1124i works.

That's all the help I can give you.

We do not find drivers for people. We will integrate what they find into DriverPacks.

Microsoft dropped the prices....

I am running 7201 - 64 bit and it came from Microsoft.

I certainly agree with you regarding anything from the Torrents, spyware, bots etc.

A couple of sites are saying later builds do not work with the Microsoft key #'s and so timeout after 30 days.
Microsoft of course is not issuing #'s for those releases.

The old thing about you get what you deserve from the Torrents is certainly true.

FINAL ROADMAP FOR WINDOWS 7 [CLIENT-SERVER]:

Thank you for your advise, I appreciate it as always.

I have used Nlite forever it seems and old habits will be hard to break.
It was nice to be able to add all the tweaks etc. and the latest Hotfix addons, I will certainly look at WPI and see what sort of a mess I can make.

Looks as if Microsoft is going to "sign off" on Win 7 on or about 21st June.

Any of the builds since 7200 are fixed core code. Cosmetics, install and a bugs fixes are in the later 7201 -7263 builds.

Looks like a lot of work from now until October 22nd. Many thanks to Muiz and all that work with him.
We may have a DP out before the product ships. WOW.

My eternal gratitude to all that work with the Packs.

Maybe the guys from Nlite will have addons similar to XP and make our life even easier.

Have a good weekend and enjoy your Father's Day.

If you want to download from sources other than MS then pay your $9.95 and join the following as a VIP member:

They test everything on their servers for problems. A great site, all files are clean and a lot of great info.

I will agree, downloading anything from regular torrent sites is asking for trouble. I don't need troubles like that.

I am not advocating piracy in any shape or form, but I believe as do many others that MS leaks their programs to promote interest.

If you have Win 7 installed and working nicely and the limited activation runs out, you are probably going to buy it when it comes out and keep all your settings and programs. Did I mention, all the "leaked" versions are Windows 7 Ultimate which will list for $299.00 if Vista pricing is anything to go by.
Microsoft may be hated by a lot of people, but they sure know how to make money.

Seems as if a newer version of Win 7 (7127) is out as well a preview version of Office 2010 in 32bit and 64 bit versions and it is optimized for Win 7.

My MS rep had not even heard about it !!!

Stu

p.s. An interesting web site and lots of links:

http://gizmodo.com/5257386/how-to-insta … ny-netbook

Changes to build 7127 (Credit to EverestUltimate - win7vista.com)
-new memtest for x86 and x64
-changes to migration tools/functions
-changes to hardware compatibility functions
-install.wim changed from 2.115GB to 2.229GB (x86) / 2.772GB to 2.969GB (x64) [most likely drivers added along with changes to system ident/test tools]
-changes to restore functions (rollback.exe and others)
-a few .dll's are now gone
-testplugin.dll added
-changes to system rating score
-lots of little changes but nothing groundbreaking.  Most of the changes look to be all about compatibility and adding new products to win7 support

Seems as if the June 1st was not as accurate as Microsoft would have us believe.

Portion of an article on Neowin:

Watch the calendar. The RC will expire on June 1, 2010. Starting on March 1, 2010, your PC will begin shutting down every two hours. Windows will notify you two weeks before the bi-hourly shutdowns start. To avoid interruption, you'll need to install a non-expired version of Windows before March 1, 2010. You'll also need to install the programs and data that you want to use.

An article about RC timeout.

http://www.neowin.net/news/main/09/05/0 … until-2010

Have to admit, got this one from my MS rep. who got it from "his source".
I was anxious to try it.

Check again later this morning, should be posted on the MSDN site.

Another interesting article for you.

http://www.neowin.net/news/main/09/04/3 … -candidate

I tried to update from 7077 64bit to 7100RC, took almost 4 hours and made the machine very unstable.
Did the same thing with my Netbook and had the same horrible results.

For the moment I cannot recommend upgrading, clean hard drive and a full instal works real nice.

7100RC is working nicely, seems a little faster, maybe they recompiled for speed rather than debugging.
