that won't help, this is already well  documented. If he has gotten this far and doesn't know what the issue is i am going to have to spend some time on this explaining it to him. He needs to start a new thread.

PLEASE.

PS Welcome to DriverPacks.net and thanks for trying to help big_smile!

I imagine you would have to run it in compatibility mode.

Its just a wrapper for devcon. you can open it with 7zip if you want tongue.
however the devcon is from NT5... so yeah it may puke a little at win 10 lol

DriverPacks BASE is not your problem LOL
hijacking this thread is. rofl

post in the bartPE forum
http://forum.driverpacks.net/viewforum.php?id=32
and i'll explain whats going on

Hello!
Welcome to DriverPacks.net.

The latest official version of DriverPacks BASE is here http://driverpacks.net/applications

Techdud Posted links to a couple of test versions that he modded unofficially.
If his links no longer function there is nothing we can do to help.
Techdud has not visited here in about a year and his email address is no longer valid.
It was hard for him to help us because he was on a metered connection and the packs obviously require huge bandwidth.
I miss him around here he was always very good at doing what we do. it's not easy - at least it's not easy to do well.

I am afraid no one can post it, and even if they could i would prefer they did not... since it is unsupported.

Why did you want that version?

Please do not hijack other peoples threads, that is bad form on our forum wink

Have a great day

fixed that wink.

the file is there... I can get it... is it good for U 2?

I think someone is running a DOS attack on me ATM

mmm

LOL that is my IP address.  I forgot i was serving that file personally big_smile!

Wife's car is not starting ATM... I'll put this file up later tonight.

I had no idea... don't wait to let me know about issues. some like this one are a slam dunk. as long as i don't forget when i get home big_smile

check out the stickies.

I think that a few lines need edited to allow Win 10. I have not tested it myself.

have you tested SAD to see if it worked ?

remote deployment always is problematic because of the size of the DriverPacks.

3 GB of drivers over a LAN even a fast one presents issues.

Driverpacks does not use or include modified drivers.

You may add them to your personal packs if you like big_smile.

tell me more about the project. is this a college? how many computers? how many OS's?. remote installs or just a demo on a table.

Guess what

You are the first post in the win 10 discussion forum big_smile!

Older OS's were extremely difficult to add drivers. (read nearly impossible)

Since the release of the NT6 platform most of the hurdles were eliminated.
what used to be almost impossible in XP is a few minutes work for win 7 with Microsoft tools like DISM.

Nobody really apreciated it when we saved them a boatload of work,
how much do you think they will for saving them very little work?
it's hard to get people to work for free doing a thankless job.

not that hard to understand really

Yes the hardware could be just fine and the driver is totally at fault.
We don't know for sure, but it IS possible.

YES! We should have a section for win 10... Bad Jeff.

It is still NT 6 - so here is fine and dandy to start with.

I had an issue with insider version of 10 where flash 20 failed Digital Media in Firefox 44.
change any one of the three works fine. all three together - poop.

Thanks!

Looks like those are SamLabs fork... the date code file name indicates a 2016 release... IDK

Yes we used to strongly encourage traffic to our downloads, because Page Views make banner ads productive. We used to burn a LOT of traffic and bandwidth too when our releases were current. We are not burdened with huge server bills ATM and newer versions of our packs are floating around out there. People like SamLab who has worked very closely with us over the years, and has updates based on our packs. Wim may disagree but I don't think it is a problem we are concerned about, at least I am not worried right at this moment.

It's always nice if they give DriverPacks.net honorable mention

I'll take the DP_ filename as a nod in our direction wink

Have smartepants forwad the file and I can make sure you don't get anti-spam folder-ed

Split it in three pieces and i can delete posts that don't relate later big_smile

I should hope so. There are no more updates to add at this point.

What an awesome effort...
I REALLY appreciate how tough something like that is to publish.
and how little that effort is recognized or even respected.

It's totally awesome the ryan forum is still rockin big_smile.

Thanks for updating the thread sir!

Jeff

PS
I guess BASE doesn't like SP4... grumble.

I emailed you my email address big_smile

I need to see the finisher log DPsFnshr.log

best way is trade them out if they don't work together.

Try with both first.

As the Chief noted in the other thread. Never has been an XP x64 pack mass storage or otherwise. there has been extensive debate about it here in the past, if you search a little wink you will find a LOT of info on that subject.

excellent feedback - thank you

agreed big_smile
