Hi
video driverpack C should have it.

on the other hand, XP does not even require this, as it supports it natively?

yakkes...

house-hunting can be a nightmare... and moving can be sorta fun when you have many helping hands.

dumb question?
are scripts case sensitive?

hi
welcome to driverpacks.net

I could be wrong, but I think that one is about another stop error
0xD1000000 is not 0x000000D1

The KB does not warn that this fix is intended for machines with this specific stop ONLY, it is not included in RVM, and automatic updates does not load it.

it is a good find, and I downloaded the localised NL and english versions to have a look at this.

if its broken, try fix it... in this case, worth a shot...

as for me, I will do "it ain't broken, but will fix it anyhow"  and find out if it breaks anything in a virtual machine.

Hi -I-,

euuh...
cmdow.exe triggers antivirus alerts when it is extracted / during slipstreaming.
DPs_Base no longer uses this file.

hi

BartPE will be supported, but it is still grayed out right now.

which boot image do you use?

the 3rd party driver section has some X64 packs.
sold the old rig that ran x64, and have to "unpunk" my royale.
(it got stripped of drives, because I need some drive cooling in those bays. And I do not want to dremel visible holes into the alu case... OTOH, fans make less noise when you have almost unimpeded inlets/outlets with much quieter grilles)

vista x64 RC2 ran like a peach on that royale...

review submitted
was not sure it would accept url, but said what I wanted to say, with some namedropping included.
and no lies... Andrew Connell did mention driverpacks...
I hope someone else will drive by and add a positive review... could maybe include a url.

I hope that folks are smart enough to figure out where to get the driverpacks.
just the one clickable link, "wim leers" is pointing to DriverPacks.net

I wanted to write a review, and registered, then all h*ll broke loose when avast did an update and notepad triggered a false positive.
anyhow, I still intend to write a review.

Hi
attachments can be uploaded at the bugtracker when you report a bug.

in the forum, you can paste the txt of the log in a post, preferrably wrapped within  code tags

I hope this issue gets solved, there are reports on problems with Nvidia chipsets, but Bâshrat the Sneaky will most likely want to see the HWIDs on that rocketraid card as well

Hope this helps, CU soon

hi
welcome to Driverpacks.net

did you run RVM after you did the driverpacks?

to me, it looks that way, and that could very well be the cause of your problems.
It is best that you do driverpacks as the last thing on a source you are streaming things into.

Floppy?
when you did the M1, did you try that with all packs?
I see you first did an M1 and then you did an M2 on that source, so if I want to try reproduce error, I had better known what you did before you ran that m2.

were there other streamers  used too ? (nlite/RVM for example)

hi
I usually run method 2, but will do a M1 in Virtual machine and try reproduce policy disabler issue.
I see you also did a method 2, which does not use $OEM$\$1 ...
That folder is used by method 1

on your 2nd question
I've found a new timestamp when I redo a run on a source (what I seldom do, but sometimes try)/ and a new file each time I do a fresh source, so I have good reason to think it does.

DP_Base streamer and Driverpâcks are in continuous developement.
at the moment, 6.08.6 streamer still works with latest driverpacks.

in a near future, it might not.

Hi,

1;
if DriverPacks cannot do it, there is always winimage to extract drivers to a folder, and Nlite to integrate these few drivers from the folder you extracted to.

2;
DriverPacks puts a lot of devices is SCSI load section in txtsetup.sif
That is the file you asked about when you ask you are not sure wich is it I shall edit.
3;
use a DVDRW, do what you do, and do DriverPacks with masstorage/TXTMODE as the LAST slipstream to that source you use. if you do not use txtmode, driver will not try load at boot.

chances are that it works right away.
If not, yell.

what motherboard do you have

Bâshrat the Sneaky asked for info, and I would like to see HWIDS, a tool to get this info is in his signature line

Hi

have not yet tried RAID on the sil 3132 chip in my royal GA mobo yet
I used it to lowlevel a scrambled RAID bootload (embr*mbr reset) when I looked at another problem.
(iastor raid version issue)

link to this chip on my mobo has drivers for this chip.
http://www.gigabyte.com.tw/Support/Moth … FileID=911

could you please link to your mobo chip drivers?
we could look at differences..
?

do not wanna yell
but forgotten is not change.

never looked, but do you have a "forgotten password" in forum FAQs?

Briefcase and sync tool almost do what Karen's  tools do?

I used Nlite to remove languages and keyboards/ dotnetFX (RVM/Meulc has an addon to do that) / and little else.
the upgrade/migrate folders manualy deleted

RVM with addons
DriverPacks all
that got me a CDRW what works.

But... I am not saying you do it wrong.
just that DPS_base should be done LAST.
Nlite messes that up real bad.
even if it don't crash.

edit; Nlite CANNOT integrate the driverpacks, that is for sure.
FAIK, that will cause a crash.

I'll try that
RVM
Nlite (what do you use nlite for?)
DriverPacks

I can try it on a dutch
Nlite has a new beta., and I tried it too. RVM newest GUI has a few "selection niggles" I should report.
(they could be my own noobie error tho)

but I do know that nlite created a 1.2GB svcpack file when it got used last...
it crashed on it

on the Nlite/RVM/DriverPacks I used Nlite to slim it, no tweaking
already had UA.sifs so I no longer use nlite for that
RVM to integrate MEULC sep/addons (currently okt / addons are also no probem on clean source)
then eitherr 608.6 or 6.10 ( NO KTD )

and viola, works on those I dood it on

I no longer buy nor install CDRW drives
DVDRW burners are basic hardware, imho

forum update did not yet put forgotten option in "profile" menu

Hi again

missed the order you do this in

whatever you use Nlite for, do it FIRST
then RVM
then DPS_base

Nlite messes up driverpacks.

older versions were oft not suitable on ECC
(parity)
86+ should be able to diagnose this on just about all modern chipsets/memory types

hi
have you ran memtest86+ ?

http://www.memtest.org/

hi

an apology to mikelm.

I am so used to having hidden/system/extentions view to ON, that I had not realised that when I ran a search on a newly KTD'ed machine, I did not have these settings.
This made me think a a file had moved.

Today I realised my mistake.

This explains why I was on a wild goosechase when I looked for localised differences (I do not regret I tried that, it got ruled out that way)

erm, ahem, so we are now looking for the reason these files get 'unhidden", eh?
