The topic says solved, but it is solved when its implented in the pack , so its solved for everyone.
But you have to ask this to one of the other drivers pack team members.

OK solved it. It's almost the same as the solution here (http://www.msfn.org/board/lofiversion/i â€¦ 66886.html).
I copied the contents of the %program files%\Sigmatel\C-Major Audio\WDM into the D\S\S\U folder. This has fixed the drivers for our current build, but I have yet to test other hardware with this driver set.

Thanks for everyone's help. These drivers make my life so much easier.

Thats cause all those drivers have the same HWIDS.
You will have to wait for Bashrat to look into this.

The driver appears to be installed OK. It shows up in device manager, but is greyed out in control panel.

So this means i have to include them al 4 ?
The driver you said is already in the pack D\S\S\U , dont know if they contain the same HWIDS.

EDIT:

I Dowloaded the one you gave me , and it had indeed the same HWIDS as in :

Sigmatel HDA (universal driver)
07/27/2006,5.10.5143.0
YES S\U

Maybe thats causing the problems?

As far as I am aware, the difference is the front panel audio header on the board, and the audio control software. Ours have the legacy AC97 front panel audio header, and the first driver has some Intel audio control. The second driver has Sigmatel audio control.
Drivers 3 & 4 are for boards where no front panel audio header exists, 3 has Intel audio control, 4 has Sigmatel audio control.
In fairness, the front audio is rarely used, but I have another machine where the front audio header is disconnected and the sound does not work at all. I can only assume that the header loops back in some way.

5.10.5208_XP32_XP64_MCE_2K_AC97FP_IAS.EXE is the one we are using for manual install.
