It was just in order to help you with tracking the exact cause. I cannot predict what's going wrong, especially because so far you are the only one with this issue. You need to narrow it down.

I'm sorry but I hope you can understand that at this point there really isn't much I can do.

Though I will be using Home in a week or two on my cousin's PC.

i have still the problem with this desktop.ini , also with 6.10

I never found out what it was due to.
It certainly wasn't caused by anything on my side, as it happened when I created a CD with everything the same as on the previous one, just a newer BASE version.

Anyway, it does not happen for me anymore, it seems.
(jtdoom is still getting it, I guess...)
Same settings basically (just updated nLite and BASE).
Random quirk at best...

First, you know by your self , that often microsoft things works again without visible references...

i use for the test the same testenviroment and same xphome nlited base.

so with 6.09 base it dosenÂ´t work
with 6.10 it works..

have you any idea where i can put a script which delete the desktop.in file in the startupfolder during startup from windows ?
